FEELING HER PHONE RINGING in her pocket, Courtney looked to see the New Directions voice chat call. Picking up, the first thing she heard was, "I say we lock Rachel up until after sectionals. I volunteer my basement."
"Uhm... Kurt?" Courtney squeaked, "That was totally not creepy."
"We can't. We need her to sing!" Mercedes reasoned. In truth, the African American wanted to get rid of the snobby brunette. However, Rachel is a vocal powerhouse and Mr Schue's number-one pick for solos. There was no way Mercedes would be picked to sing a solo if Rachel wasn't there. She was sure Mr Schue would spend the time looking for the girl instead of giving the position away.
"Damn her talent," Kurt cursed.
Hearing a beep that signified more people joining the call, Courtney checked her phone. She saw Brittany and Santana's contacts light up. "We just heard. Who told?" Santana asked.
"We assumed it was you," Artie admitted.
"Why would I do that?" the Latina sarcastically questioned, narrowing her eyes. Artie couldn't see it, but Santana had a deadly look on her face.
"To get back at Puck. Aren't you guys dating?" Kurt stated the obvious. Everyone has heard about Santana and Puck. Last week, they were sexting while the man was babysitting with Quinn.
The blonde was enraged to learn the truth, finally realising that Puck was not fit to raise a baby. After that, Quinn gave up finding a man at all. As Sue mentioned before, men were a colossal disappointment.
"Sex is not dating," Santana said, rolling her eyes.
"If it were, Santana and I would be dating," Brittany spoke up, backing up Santana's point.
Silence.
"Look, I don't want to rock the boat. Since Quinn got pregnant, I'm top dog around here," the Latina remarked, giving the blonde beside her a smirk. "Hold up, Rachel's walking by," Mercedes interrupted.
A distinct "Hey, hot mama." can be heard from her side.
"Look, I know I screwed up telling all you guys about Quinn and Puck. And I feel really terrible about it, but we cannot let Rachel figure this out. If she tells Finn, he's going to flip," the African American stressed. This news was bound to destroy the team. For one, Finn would not want to be in a room with Quinn or Puck anymore. Two, Rachel is seriously in love with Finn, meaning she'll take his side and leave too.
"And then we really have no chance at sectionals," Kurt grumbled.
"Oh, come on, guys! Don't think like that! We have a lot of powerful voices here," Courtney chirped, trying to bring up the team's morale. Before she could continue, the bell rang. Multiple beeps came from her phone. The phone call ended.

At Glee Club, Mr Schue announced that Ms Pillsburry would be his replacement. The woman had convinced her fiancé that their wedding could be pushed back a couple of hours so she could take the kids to sectionals. She justified it by saying it was for the children, but the couple knew she did it for Will.
