"LITTLE MONSTERS

"LITTLE MONSTERS. TAKE A BOW," Mr Schue declared, clapping for the girls (and Kurt)— who were dressed in their Lady Gaga outfits. Courtney was excited to show off her outfit. She was wearing the white version of Lady Gaga's Origami dress from 2008.

"Ladies, Kurt, I am really, really impressed. Siéntate," he said, holding his arms to say "sit down". "You know what the best part is? Each one of your costumes shows a different aspect of your personalities," Mr Schue said, giving the group a look of approval.

"Wait. Where's Rachel? I mean, I only noticed because five minutes have gone by without her saying something totally obnoxious," Puck piped up.

"Rachel kinda got some intense news yesterday," Mercedes replied, sharing a look with Quinn. The blonde turned to Mr Schue, ready to tell the story.

"We were spying on Vocal Adrenaline, and—"

"Guys, that's not fair! You have got to stop doing that," Mr Schue cut in, looking at them disappointedly. Oh, no. Not the "disappointed dad" look.

"But, uh, you know, what'd you find out?" he asked, intrigued.

Silence.

"Ha! You're a gossip, Mr Schue," Courtney snickered.

"I am not!" he screeched, trying to defend himself.

Rolling her eyes, Mercedes continued, "Anyway. It's Ms Corcoran, their coach. She's Rachel's mom."

A series of gasps were heard throughout the room. Everyone was worried the news would affect Rachel and her mindset. It was almost time for regionals. They couldn't afford her being distracted.

"Are you serious?" Mr Schue.

"Way to bury the lead, Mercedes." Artie.

"We're screwed. Rachel's going to jump ship to Vocal Adrenaline." Puck.

Just then, Rachel strolled into the room with the ugliest costume Courtney had ever seen. The brunette was wearing a dress with stuffed animals attached to it. The costume was horrible— it didn't fit her right and made her look like a cereal box. It was kind of funny, though.

"Never. I don't want to talk about it, though. I'm still processing the news. And my dads are moving my therapist to our spare room later this afternoon," the brunette announced, stopping to stand by Mr Schuester's side.

"All I know is that I'm not going anywhere, and I've chosen a Lady Gaga look that expresses the longing for a childhood I was deprived of," she explained, pointing to her dress.

"You look terrible. I look awesome," Brittany commented in her usual deadpan voice.

"I think it's the Kermit the Frog look," Mercedes suggested, eyeing the outfit in disgust.

"And we have a jumper," Kurt sighed as one of Rachel's stuffed animals fell off the dress.

"Well, my dads can't sew, so these are just stapled on," the brunette mumbled, bending down to retrieve the fallen stuffed frog. Courtney did have to admit, though. The stuffed animals were super cute.
