THE CHEERIOS HAD WON ANOTHER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, AND COURTNEY WAS OVER THE MOON. Last week, her mother had choreographed what was arguably the Cheerios' most elaborate routine. She had everyone put on blue wigs and do tricks on stage as Courtney sang Katy Perry's California Girls. Of course, even without the over-the-top performance, the Cheerios would've won anyways.
They're the fan-favorite and the team with the longest winning streak. True to everyone's expectations, the Cheerios brought home another win, and Sue could not be more proud of her girls.
Nothing could physically bring Courtney down from where she was floating on cloud nine.
Unfortunately, her good mood didn't last very long as she spotted Finn staring at Quinn and Sam with a grin on his face. Courtney narrowed her eyes at the boy. Ever since his break up with Rachel, he's been trying to get Quinn to date him again. Men.
Being the good sister she is, Courtney stormed up to Finn with a deadly glare. "Don't even think about it, Hudson," she hissed.
The quarterback was surprised. "W-What? I wasn't doing anything!" he defended.
Courtney raised an eyebrow. "I've seen the way you've been looking at my sister. I'm telling you to back off, Finn. She's finally happy with someone who she trusts. Have you seen her recently? She's practically glowing," she said. "I'm not going to let you ruin this for her. She has moved on, and so should you."
She gave him one last warning look before she skipped off with a giant grin on her face. Other than that minor setback, nothing's going to ruin her good mood.
Courtney was proven wrong once again as she saw her boyfriend leaning against her locker. She would normally be ecstatic that he was visiting, but he was currently having a conversation with his ex.
Courtney is not a jealous woman, but when her boyfriend speaks to his ex, who is totally still hung up on him, she gets these urges. Urges to walk up to her boyfriend and kiss him until he couldn't think straight.
And so, that's exactly what she did.
She walked up to Jesse's side and dragged him into a searing kiss by the back of his neck.
This was different from all their other kisses. This one is possessive— like she was claiming her territory. Courtney's grip on his neck never faltered, and when he tried to pull away, she only dragged him in further.
Jesse let a surprised moan slip out when Courtney forcefully shoved her tongue in his mouth. He was certainly taken aback. He had never seen his sweet and gentle girlfriend this way before.
He had to admit, though. This new side of Courtney stirred up feelings inside him. Feelings that he would be too embarrassed to speak aloud.
When the blonde pulled away, she kissed Jesse's cheek before skipping away. The curly-haired boy's cheeks lit aflame as he watched her leave. His mind was preoccupied with thoughts of their earlier kiss.
