The crew soon arrived at Sandcouche Island's dock, seeing a vast field of yellow sand that didn't seem to stop. "I have sand in my mouth!" complained Rindo, earning a snicker from Toshiro.

"Maybe that will stop you from running your mouth," he said. The blonde turned to him and bit his arm, making him scream and try to pry her off him. "Stop biting me, you animal!" he shouted, making the others shake their heads at the two.

Y/n turned toward Hikari, who was looking at the horizon with a distant look. "You're okay?" he asked. Shaking her head out of her daze, Hikari lowered it. "...I'm fine, just worried," she revealed, making him nod.

"Well, the sooner we get you treated, the sooner we can go," he smiled at her, making Hikari nod. "You're right," she said, walking forward. "Follow me," she instructed, making the crew nod.

Walking through the sandy field, they could see houses built in the sand and people around. "I didn't realise people were here," said Shachi, looking around and making Hikari nod. "Sandstorms are common, so people here adapt to the rash condition," she explained, looking to the side.

"However, now that a war is close to their door, they need to be more vigilant," she pointed in the distance. "You see that dune over there?" she asked, making the crew nod. "They have observed us since we arrived," she explained, surprising them. "They are waiting to see if we're enemies or not," realised Souta, making Hikari nod.

"...we did the same back in Glasteria," informed Fuyune, making them glance at her. "...I was mostly a look out for any possible threat," she explained. "And when she felt danger, she would act before reporting to us," smiled Fuyuto, earning a side glare from his sister. "What? I'm just stating the truth," he defended, making Fuyune shake her head before looking forward. "...whatever," she mumbled.

Looking back at the dune, Rindo frowned. "I hope they realise we aren't enemies," she said, making Hikari shrug. "If we don't act out of line, it will be fine," she said as they passed a group of people who followed their movements with their eyes.

"...I don't like this," said Rindo, making Shachi put a hand on her shoulder. "Try not to think about it too much," she said, making the blonde nod before Hikari gained their attention. "We will reach the city," she informed before looking at them.
