"All pirates searching for the treasure One Piece must brave the second half of the Grand Line. These wild and dangerous seas are known as the New World."

"Gold Roger and his crew were the only men to chart these waters and learn all the secrets they held."

"For the rest of the pirates in the world, this has proven to be the end of the road. A graveyard of dreams."

"Now, Y/n L/n, a young man who ate the Ox Ox Fruit Model: Water Buffalo, set sail into the New World with his faithful crew."

'I'm gonna become the King of the Pirates!'

The wind shifted as the trio followed a narrow spiral stair, its edge carved with old Groundborn glyphs that marked watch-posts and observation codes. Kaelen led them wordlessly upward, and the higher they climbed, the sharper the breeze became.

The training arenas and towers slowly gave way to elevated plateaus, tall wind bridges, and crisscrossing paths where banners snapped, and soldiers stood on rotating watch platforms shaped like giant coiled feathers.

Eventually, the path levelled out, revealing an expansive terrace where several elevated towers converged around a wide circular courtyard. Marble tiles gleamed underfoot, etched with faded battle diagrams with arrows, formations, and tactical sigils long since scuffed by boots.

The open space was half training ground, half staging point, with several Groundborn soldiers lingering nearby, conversing quietly or inspecting their weapons. But none of that mattered the moment Fuyuto's eyes found a familiar silhouette.

Across the courtyard, standing with arms folded and posture poised but unmistakably tense, was Fuyune. Next to her stood Usagi, hands resting casually on her hips, flanked by a couple of Groundborn escorts.

Their group hadn't noticed them yet, but the moment Fuyuto took a step forward, Fuyune's ears twitched. She turned. And their eyes met. "Yo," he said, voice casual but layered with unspoken warmth.

Fuyune blinked once. Her lips tugged upward faintly. "...you look like crap," she said flatly, making Fuyuto grin. "Love you too, sis," he replied, crossing the space in a few easy strides.

They met with a half-embrace casual enough to pretend they weren't relieved, but tight enough that neither of them truly let go. The kind of hug that said we're alive, even if no one voiced it.

"You alright?" Fuyuto asked. "...I'm fine," Fuyune replied, pulling back with a slight eye roll. "...or I was... but it could be better if we didn't get thrown away from everyone else," she added before Inoko snorted as she wandered over.

"Borororo! Right!? Tat a wild delay from our adventure, but it's good to see more scenery," she said with a wide grin. Fuyune glanced at her and smiled. "...still the loudest in the room... huh?" she joked.
