The cavern trembled with each powerful collision. The sheer intensity of the battle between Y/n and Zhongli sent shockwaves through the underground chamber. The air was thick with the echoes of their clashing ideologies. Their every strike was a physical manifestation of their conflicting beliefs.

Stalactites rained down from the ceiling, the ground beneath them splintering and cracking under the force of their relentless blows. The only light in the chamber came from the faint, intermittent glow of geo-energy and the occasional spark of clashes against the hardened rock.

Zhongli's granite-encased form loomed over Y/n, his eyes cold and calculating. "You believe you can change your destiny, don't you?" he asked, full of disdain. At his question, Y/n clenched his fists, and his muscles taut with the tension of battle. His gaze met Zhongli's gaze with unwavering determination.

"Destiny isn't something that's handed to you," Y/n retorted calmly despite the tremors in the ground. "It's something you craft with your own hands, something you fight for with every part of yourself," continued Y/n, which made Zhongli scoff.

Done listening to him, Zhongli lunged forward, his hardened fists swinging in a wide arc. "Earthquake Wave!" he shouted, slamming his foot into the ground. The impact sent a localised tremor through the cavern, the ground splitting open as jagged fissures spread toward Y/n.

The earth beneath Y/n shifted and buckled, threatening to throw him off balance. Y/n staggered slightly as the ground beneath him cracked and shifted. Zhongli pressed his advantage, charging forward with a roar. "Seismic Devastation!" he shouted, raising both fists above his head, ready to slam them down with earth-shattering force.

But just as Zhongli's fists were about to connect, Y/n shifted his stance. "Redirection Kata: Weeping Willow!" he said as his body fluidly moved with the flow of Zhongli's attack. At the last moment, Y/n redirected the force of the blow, causing Zhongli to slam his fists into the cavern wall instead.

The force of the impact sent tremors through the entire chamber. The ground beneath them shattered like glass, sending up dust and debris. But Y/n used the momentary distraction to put some distance between them.
