"All pirates searching for the treasure One Piece must brave the second half of the Grand Line. These wild and dangerous seas are known as the New World."
"Gold Roger and his crew were the only men to chart these waters and learn all the secrets they held."
"For the rest of the pirates in the world, this has proven to be the end of the road. A graveyard of dreams."
"Now, Y/n L/n, a young man who ate the Ox Ox Fruit Model: Water Buffalo, set sail into the New World with his faithful crew."
'I'm gonna become the King of the Pirates!'
Inoko and Fuyuto walked side by side, following a trail that weaved between softly glowing mineral streams. The warm breeze carried the scent of moss, salt, and something metallic like a forge breathing just under the earth. Beneath their feet, the path was coated in strange crystalline stones, and the earth pulsed faintly with natural energy.
Every few steps, Inoko darted forward like an excited puppy, pointing at something. It transitioned from another stream that glimmered with pink light to a cluster of mushrooms that blinked with bioluminescent dots or a rock formation shaped like a snoring face.
"Borororo! Look at that one! Doesn't it look like Y/n when he naps in the sun?" she laughed, crouching to poke at a nearby stone that had moss growing across it like wild eyebrows.
Fuyuto, walking a little behind her, let out a quiet laugh. "I know this is a new island, but you seem more excited than usual," he said, looking at the excited swordswoman. Hearing this, Inoko turned toward him, crouching low like she was about to pounce, her wide grin framed by wild hair.
"Because I am! This island is awesome! And besides..." she paused, standing up straight, hands on hips. "You guys never let me go with Y/n and Rindo! So I've got to find my own fun!" she said.
Fuyuto hummed thoughtfully, adjusting his coat slightly as he glanced around. The trees here seemed older, gnarled and twisted in elegant shapes that caught the sunlight like blades. The streams bubbled nearby, unusually clear, faintly steaming.
"Well, maybe just don't fall into one of those streams," he said without looking at her. Hearing his words, Inoko paused. She had just been leaning over one, squinting at her own reflection in the water like it held some great secret. Her hand hovered over the surface as she cupped it for a drink.
"...oops," she said, blinking before she laughed and stepped back from the edge. "I will be careful!" she chirped before leaning in again, this time kneeling so she could try sipping the glowing water without tumbling headfirst. "You're impossible," Fuyuto said before chuckling as he watched her trying not to fall into the water.
"Are you doing this because you know I can save you from drowning?" he asked, making Inoko raise a thumb up as she managed to get some water in. Seeing her response, Fuyuto shook his head, amused. But just as he was about to take a step forward, his ears twitched.
