The forest echoed with thunderous collisions, each one louder than the last. The glowing canopy of the glowing forest quivered with every strike, leaves shimmering from bursts of static and seismic force. In the heart of it all, two streaks of living motion clashed like myth made flesh.
Esther soared high above, her form like divine fury. Her face was lit up with the thrill of the moment, eyes glinting with challenge. Across from her, standing firm on the broken roots below, was Y/n, who was grinning with wild energy.
"You're not too bad for a pirate," Esther called down, balancing easily on the thick branch of a warped tree. Her lightning wings flickered behind her like the fluttering tails of a comet.
Hearing her words, Y/n snorted, flexing his arms. "Tehehehahaha! Right back at you, but you saw nothing!" he said before Esther raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You want me to get serious, too, now, huh?" she asked.
Without waiting for a reply, she launched herself from the branch, her body a golden streak through the canopy. "Let's light it up!" Esther's voice trailed in the air. "Twin Bolt Comet!" she said.
Her legs extended in a clean diving kick, electricity spiralling around her like twin-tailed ribbons of fate. She became a crashing comet surging with lightning and rage. But Y/n didn't budge. If only his smile widened. "Let's dance," he said, tensing his muscles. "Adamantine Kata: Ironbreaker!" shouted Y/n.
*BOOOOOM*
His fist collided with Esther's comet-like descent, and the world forest floor exploded as shockwaves surged outward in concentric circles, flattening the trees in every direction. Lightning and seismic force mingled, scattering glowing leaves like sparks from a forge.
Y/n's feet dragged grooves into the earth while Esther Talon trembled with the intensity, but neither yielded. Then Y/n's foot dug deep. With a low growl, he shifted weight and launched forward. "Flame Kata: Raging Fire!" said Y/n, using a snapped branch like a springboard.
