Souta stretched his arms behind his head, exhaling as he and Toshiro wandered through Sabaody's maze-like groves. The late afternoon sunlight filtered through the giant mangrove roots, casting long shadows across the wooden walkways.

The energy of the island had started shifting. There was always an undercurrent of tension in Sabaody, but today, it seemed more... lively than usual. Toshiro flicked his tail lazily as he adjusted the levitating gadget holding their purchases.

"Alright, I know Y/n and the others are a chaotic bunch, but even for them, Sabaody feels different now. More than earlier," said Toshiro before Souta chuckled. "Yeah, something's up. You get that gut feeling, too?" he said, making the reptilian nod. "More like a 'we left them unsupervised' feeling," he joked.

The two rounded a corner, making their way toward a quieter grove, away from the bustling shopping district and amusement park where they agreed to meet. That's when they saw it. Three familiar figures.

Y/n, Inoko, and Rindo, knelt on the ground, heads bowed slightly like misbehaving children caught red-handed. Standing before them with her arms crossed, her white-furred ears twitching in quiet exasperation, was Fuyune, who emanated a distinct aura of menace from her.

Souta and Toshiro exchanged glances. "Well, this is interesting," Toshiro hummed while Souta raised an eyebrow. "Should we be worried?" asked the navigator, but he already knew the answer based on his smile. Toshiro grinned, adjusting his goggles.

"That depends. Do you think they deserve whatever's coming?" he asked, making Souta pause before he faked hard thinking. Then, he laughed. "Ahahaha! Absolutely," he said. With that, they walked forward, stepping up beside Fuyuto, who stood off to the side, watching the scene with an amused smile.

"...I don't even know what to say to you three," Fuyune said as her tail flicked sharply before she let out a slow, heavy sigh. "...it's only been a few hours...and you three somehow managed to get banned from the amusement park," she said, her voice flat yet carrying the unmistakable weight of deep, unshaken disappointment.

Y/n, Inoko and Rindo bowed their heads more, though it was clear they weren't actually sorry. "...I just want to understand... how?" wondered Fuyune, pinching the bridge of her nose. Chuckling, Fuyuto shook his head as he watched his sister tear into them. "It is impressive, honestly," he said before looking to his right.
