"All pirates searching for the treasure One Piece must brave the second half of the Grand Line. These wild and dangerous seas are known as the New World."
"Gold Roger and his crew were the only men to chart these waters and learn all the secrets they held."
"For the rest of the pirates in the world, this has proven to be the end of the road. A graveyard of dreams."
"Now, Y/n L/n, a young man who ate the Ox Ox Fruit Model: Water Buffalo, set sail into the New World with his faithful crew."
'I'm gonna become the King of the Pirates!'
The wind rippled through the training courtyard, tugging at cloaks and fluttering strands of hair as laughter filled the space between marble columns and floating platforms. Kallista was grinning from ear to ear, her hands still resting casually on her hips, fingers brushing against her sticker-littered submachine gun.
"So," she said with a wide sparkle in her eye. "What's your name, mystery gunslinger?" asked Kallista, tilting her head to the side. Calypso didn't miss a beat. She tilted her head back, one hand confidently resting on her rifle's sling as the other slid her mask back into place atop her head.
"Calypso," she declared with theatrical flair. "Sniper Queen. And future legend of the New World," added the marine. Her voice dripped with playful arrogance, but her grin was genuine. At that, Kallista giggled. "I like you already. You got the swagger and you seem to back it up," she said, flashing a grin as wide as the sky.
Calypso mirrored the expression, her own smile bright and mischievous. "Same," she replied, her eyes dropping briefly to the submachine gun hanging at Kallista's hip. Her grin widened. "You've got style," she added, voice appreciative.
The two stood, eyes locked with mischief in one and daring in the other. There were no words exchanged in that pause, but an understanding passed between them like a current on the wind: a new rivalry or perhaps a strange, gunpowder-scented friendship had just been born amidst the wind-whistled pillars of Aetheria.
Watching this unfold, Usagi chuckled under her breath. "When it comes to marksmanship," she said, arms folded. "Calypso really manages to captivate people's attention," she added before Erylea let out a short, amused laugh.
"She doesn't just captivate," she said. "She commands attention. It's clear from the way she moves, talks, and shoots that it all comes from a genuine love for the craft. You can't fake that kind of passion," added Erylea.
Selene, who had been idly twirling a loose thread from her sleeve, nodded dramatically. "Mmm," she hummed, pivoting lightly on one heel. "She intrigues me a lot... but not as much as my Seeds of Fate," she said, her tone turning sing-song.
Fuyune's ear twitched as she picked up on the shift in her tone, just as Selene pivoted with exaggerated grace to face her. "Which reminds me," Selene said with a sharp grin. "We'll have to go find your friends next, won't we?" she asked, clearly happy to grind Fuyune's gears.
