Backstory: Yukiharu was once a proud warrior from a land long lost to him, a place of unyielding tradition and honour. When a great power overtook his homeland, he and his family fled, seeking safety far beyond the reach of war.

After years of wandering, they found themselves on the icy island of Glasteria in the East Blue, a desolate place untouched by the chaos of the Grand Line. Soon, other Cryo Minks, displaced and exiled, began to gather there, forming a community that Yukiharu eventually became the leader of.

It was not a homeland but a place where they could live in peace... or so he thought. For a time, they were together. His wife, his children, and the new home they had built. But then, one day, she left. Yukiharu never told Fuyuto or Fuyune why.

Fuyuto, though hurt, sensed there was more to the story. Over time, Yukiharu gave him fragments of an explanation but never the full truth. But Fuyune? She was too young to understand, so she was left with nothing but silence.

In that silence, resentment grew. She believed their father had let her mother die. Yukiharu never corrected her and never spoke against her pain. He let her think what she needed to think.
