TommyHe was long since full but Tommy did not move from his place sprawled over Wilburs lap.
Safe-Coven-Warm
Tommy has been drinking exclusively vampire blood for a while now and could feel the difference.
Tommy felt the strongest he has ever been. He no longer just hurt but now muscles grew from the soreness. Tommy felt quicker and more alert. Then there were odd sorts of side effects. Everyonce in a while Tommy would feel a sort of nudge deep down that compelled him to do things. Sometimes it was his, other times he wanted to make strange noises like a little fledgling baby which was royally embarrassing when Tommy didn't catch himself in time.
Only fledglings and Sire's with fledglings ever gave into their instincts like that.
There was a knock at the door before it opened. Tommy didn't care enough to come out from under the blanket to see who it was.
There was a pause before Wilbur finally spoke up. "Do you need something Nikki?"
"Just wanted to know if you were planning on helping with your son's birthday party." she said, Nikki sounded like she was in a bad mood.
Wilburs hand gripped Tommy's shoulder rather hard. "You're kidding me. That's tomorrow?"
"Today actually." Nikki told him.
Wilbur swore and patted Tommys back to get him to sit up. Tommy did so, keeping the blankets wrapped around him because it was cold.
"Today is Fundy's birthday?" Tommy asked, then burst out laughing. "And you forgot!"
"A Lot of things have been going on." Wilbur excused himself, but he got out of bed quickly. He looked a bit like a mess. His hair was going every which way, his shirt was tucked in on only one side and a sock was missing.
Nikki rolled her eyes but handed him a sticky note. "I had a feeling this would happen and I made a list of things you need to do."
Wilbur read over it and nodded. "What time is it?"
"Seven pm." Nikki answered looking at her watch.
"Oh crap!" Wilbur grabbed his coat off the hanger and hurried out the door.
"Do I have a job too?" Tommy asked. "I don't even have a present."
"Don't worry about it Tommy." Nikki reassured him. "But Ranboo is leaving to get the party food. You can go with him if you want."
"Okay then." Tommy slid out of bed, mindful of his bandaged arm. He popped open a small vial of healing potion and downed it. "Where is Ranboob?"
"In Phils office, we are decorating."
Decorating was a generous statement. Nikki herself seemed to be regretting leaving the boys in charge. Jack was struggling to fill the balloons with helium. Three half filled ones sort of drifted in the air. One was squeaking and slowly drifting to the floor as air escaped through the poorly tied knot. Purpled stood on a chair holding one end of the banner while Ranboo had to lower his arm. Phil was trying to make sure the banner was straight and was failing at giving good directions.
"Ranboo if you are going to get to KFC before it closes you need to leave now." Nikki reminded him.
"Right." Ranboo taped the 'happy birthday' banner to the wall and pulled out a few hundred human dollar bills. "Is this enough money? Phil only had hundreds."
"I think you will be okay." Nikki reassured him. "Tommys going with you so skedaddle."
Tommy followed Ranboo, having to jog every few steps to keep up with his long legs. "Whats KFC."
