Ranboo

The burning waves of heat came first. Then the death ending noise so loud it could be classified as a different sense entirely. Ranboo was thrown back, his head smacked against the back wall as he crumpled to the floor.

His eyes were blown wide open. Not too far away, Nikki was laying on her stomach. Her hands covered her head but he could see her mouth open wide like she was screaming. Ranboo couldn't hear her.

Just a loud ringing bouncing around his skull.

He closed his eyes tight as the explosion passed. Ranboo was sure he was screaming in pain but he couldn't even hear himself.

Every sense he had was burning.

Ranbo couldn't take it.

A soothing yet cooling feeling washed over him, and he slumped in relief. Ranboo wanted to cry at how good it felt against the burns he was sure he had. He blinked his eyes open.

Nikki was standing over him. She helped him stand and dragged him away. In the glimpses he got, Ranboo saw a big hole in the far wall and splintering wood.

Everyone was running away from the explosion. The ringing was starting to go down. Ranboo could hear the manor creak dangerously.

Phil led the way, sword in hand. In the other he pulled a splash potion of healing from his pockets. Ranboo ran through its splash and the cooling washed over him once again. It was only that potion that allowed him to keep running.

Once Phil decided they were far enough away to no longer be in danger of being crushed by the unstable foundations, the man rushed to the window and threw back the curtains.

He said a string of words Ranboo didn't understand, but from his tone he guessed Phil was cursing in an ancient language. Phil looked to Punz.

"There is a nether portal in the basement portion of the manor. It's by Technoblade's room. I need you to get everyone out of here."

Punz nodded at the command, and with his sword drawn, he led the way and the whole coven followed. Ranboo didn't even see what was out the window but Phil's serious tone made his instincts compel him to follow.

Head-Command-Submit

If Tommy had not been standing by his side during their run, Ranboo might not have noticed his absence. He paused and looked back when he saw Tommy was not in front of him. Ranboo saw he had not left Phil's side.

"Aren't you coming with us?" Tommy asked confusedly when Phil didn't follow.

Phil answered gravely. "My first duty as your coven leader is to make sure first and foremost you all are safe. I will be close behind, don't worry Tommy."

"Why did you train us in combat if you won't let us fight for our home?" Tommy exclaimed.

Phil just pointed to the outside of the window. "That is not a fight we are going to win."

"Well, not by yourself." Tommy protested, seemingly un-wavered.

Ranboo looked back to see everyone else getting ahead. "Tommy, come on!" He called out.

Phil looked at him but Tommy didn't. "Go with Ranboo, Tommy."

Tommy's expression grew angry. But with the time Ranboo had spent with Tommy he could see the tell tale lip bite he was doing.

"Nobody's left behind Phil." Tommy insisted. He gripped Phil's robe. "Nobody."

"I will be right behind you now." Phil said calmly.
