Chapter22: That Would Take Them Away

Technoblade

"Wha-" Tommy coughed as he caught his breath. "We are just going to let him go? Where's Phil?"

Technoblade pointed to the black sky soaring high in the sky.

"Tommy I think we can win-"

He was cut off by Tommy hugging him tightly for a moment before he let go with a blush of embarrassment. "Missed you" he mumbled.

Loved-Fledgling-Wanted

Technoblade grunted in acknowledgment but rested a hand on the back of Tommy's neck and started to steer him inside when he heard Dream's voice shouting.

"Technobalde calls off the dogs or they get it."

Technobalde looked away for five seconds and all of a sudden Phil, Ranboo, Nikki, and Jack got themselves tied up and kidnapped at the feet of Dream who had a crossbow.

Technobalde grumbled in annoyance and whistled sharp. The dogs all froze and looked to their master for approval.

Techoblade cleared his throat. "What do you want Dream?" In a low voice he said. "Tommy, do you see the Forest line to the right?"

"Yeh?"

Dream shouted back. "Give us Tommy and nobody has to get hurt."

"How do I know Tommy won't get hurt?" Techno replied. "Tommy when I start running we both run for the trees."

"What?" Tommy whispered angrily. "We are going to get shot, there are too many of them!"

"I wouldn't do that to him." Dream replied.

"I got an invisibility potion, we will be fine." Technobalde raised his voice. "Well apparently you killed some other kid so sorry if I don't believe you."

"Techno take Tommy and run!" Phil shouted before getting slapped in the face.

It made Tommy burn with rage but he knew Phil at least would be okay. With the others he simply had to take the chance.

"But if we are both invisible I can't see you." Tommy panicked.

"Fine, I'll pick you up." Techno didn't even give Tommy a second to reply. He reached into his pocket and splashed the water looking potion over them. There was some yelling but Technobalde scooped up Tommy and sprinted for the woods.

"There! The particles!"

Technobalde cursed Puffy's low quality invisibility potions. Wilbur's potions never left particles.

He held Tommy close to his chest and lowered his head, hoping for the best they ran.

There was some person standing in that out of the way place.

"Tubbo, shoot them!" Dream screamed.

"Where?" Tubbo stuttered stupidly because Techno knew they were fizzing a lot.

Technoblade ran past him. Slipping something to the boy's pocket.

"Behind you! You idiot!" Dream shouted in frustration running at them. "Shoot! Shoot!"

Tubbo turned around.

Technobalde pulled out his crossbow with a firework attached. There was no time to change weapons.

Tommy saw it a second too late. "Techno wait! That's my-"

Technobalde shot the fireworks at Tubbo and didn't watch as the boy and all the explosives in his pocket exploded.

Dream needed Tommy.

Tommy watched with his head over Technoblade's shoulder.

Technobalde just ran.
