Frog

No, no.. this can't be happening...

Frog watched in horror as her mother fell at the hands of her brother, no, that monster.
The world stopped turning in that moment, her ears rang and she felt tears beginning to fill her eyes in pools. She heard things about Dream, not good things, and she now knew why.

For the first time, she heard a small voice in her head telling her to attack, to rip apart that thing limb from limb. She didn't care that they were family, as far as she was concerned, they were as different as could be.

One thing was for sure, nobody hurts Frog's family without experiencing her wrath. Well, anyone except her that is.

"Mom!" She cried, high pitched and guttural, immediately charging at Dream and trying to maul his face. Her eyes held nothing but pain and rage, mind set on killing him then and there.

"You monster! How could you do something like that!? She's our mother!" Frog screamed, tears streaming down her face as she desperately ripped at her older brother's face.

When she was thrown, she didn't think before popping back up and going for the ankles to try to take him down. She was no match for the older male as she was kicked off.

She only stopped when she was lifted by the winged man.

Phil

Phil was going to kill him, Phil was going to kill Dream for killing Puffy. His old friend. Sweet Puffy.

There was a feral cry and a small thing attacked Dreams face. Phil flinched back in surprise releasing Dream from the pin he had him in. Dream shouted and threw the thing away from him.

It was the older of the little girls, the one that very much looked like she had animalistic traits from the way she was bristling and screaming all sorts of violence at Dream.

Dream just ignored her.

He looked very angry.

The girl looked very angry at being ignored.

Dream jumped to the side as an explosive fell at his feet. He looked up and the girl took it as her opportunity to bite his ankle. Dream, in irritation, kicked her away.

"Phil!" Nikki shouted to him, she was waving him away. "Come on let's go!"

Phil broke away in irritation and scooped the feral child by the stomach and ran to join the others in their escape. He didn't look to see if Dream was following, Phil was sure he was until the child screamed in his ear.

"He shot Phantom!"

Phil looked back to see a crossbow in Dream's hand and a falling mess of nets with red coloring entangled in them.

"That's my cousin!" The child screamed, banging her little wrists against his back.

Phil let her drop to the floor and sprinted the growing shadow on the ground. Oh Prime, was it another kid? Please let it not be a child dropping those bombs. What if it was a little again with its poor little wings caught in the net? Hopping it just right he caught the falling thing in his arms rolling several times to swallow the momentum.

He stopped with a grunt and the thing in his arms wiggled and quietly squeaked.

As Phil clambered  to his feet something hit the side of his head with a blunt twang. Time paused in that moment. Phil could see nothing but pain and ringing.

Something pulled him up gripping his collar roughly.

Too loud voices came in and out of focus. Time was zipping too fast, it was overwhelming.
