Fleetway's Torment

Release

(Nobody Pov:) Scourge sat in his cell twiddling his thumbs untill he looked up at a screen for the news.

'Recent news reports that Scourge the hedgehog was not the murder of Tails the fox  and instead the real murderer was Amy Rose. Amy Rose was a fanatic of Sonic and it seems from her recent murder of Tails and the state of her home, she had went insane'

Scourge was happy by this news even if it seemed a little out of character for Amy. Though part of him thought maybe she really did get sick of Tails and just kill him.

Then nearby police officers released him from his cell and gave him back his clothes. Scourge put on his jacket  and while doing so, the jackal glared at him.
Jackal: 'I'll be watching you'
Scourge rolled his eyes as the jackal walked off and then went on his way.

(Scourge pov:) it feels good to be free and not be behind bars for something I didn't do. Seems pinky did get sick of Tails, I mean if I had to deal with him for as long as she had to deal with him then maybe I would kill him. Now where should I go...

MANIC! I gotta go to manic! I need to see my lil Manic!

I start running to the hospital, not giving a damn if people think I'm crazy as I reach the hospital and approach a bat receptionist.

'Hey I'm here to see someone called manic. He's a hedgehog like me, green fur, has hair like this' I pulled up my fur trying to imitate Manic's hair with little effect.
'I know who you are talking about, he's in room A325' I heard the bat say.
'Alright thanks!' I then ran to the stairs of the A area, went up to floor 3, then slowed down a bit and got up to room 25.

I knock on the door and see an outline through the glass of a hedgehog, when they open the door I see Manic but he has numerous bandages attached to him, his hair is unkept and his eyes are baggy.

After Manic's realization  of who I was he hugged me tightly and I hugged him tightly back.
'I'm so glad you are here Scourge!' I heard Manic say between crying
'I'm glad to see your cute face too' I cried some happy tears, I will admit. Manic looked so happy to see me and I'm sure I look over the moon!

'I...didn't know if you were ever going to come back' Hearing those words.....broke me.
'No no no. Manic I would never leave you! I wouldn't have left anyway if it wasn't for a good reason even if....I still haven't found Fleetway...' I can only hope that Lord X can find him or else.....he might truly be dead...
'Scourge...I understand that you were looking for Fleetway but you could have called me a few times or left some texts' His words were true, I feel so awful for not doing this.
'I know, I know I'm so sorry Manic!' I hug him tightly. 'If...if you still want to be friends then I will never do what I did ever again' I just hope he says he wants to be  my friend even if...I wish he was my boyfriend...
'Scourge... I trust you and..I still love you even though you never texted...I had just....assumed you had died'
'Manic, you do know you could of asked Silver or Mephiles'

Manic seemed to have an embarrased look, I know what that means...do I comment on it or not.......

'You didn't ask them did ya?' I had a small smirk on my face
'Oh...shut up you' Manic said jokingly, so he really doesn't hate me.
'So Manic...if you are up to it... I can still be your boyfriend, I still love you.' Please say yes, please say yes, please say yes!
'Yes, you can be my boyfriend Scourge BUT only after I give you this gift' 'Hmm....what gif-' Manic then began kissing me and I lovingly kissed him back
'Heh, you cheeky hedgehog!' We laugh together

I place my hands in his hair and start fixing it to how it normally looks. Once done I move my hands away
'There ya go. Now that's the hair of a hedgehog who I love~'
'Scourge stop' we both laugh together and I get an idea.

'Well that is settled then. For as long as you are in this hospital, I will be with you. Nothing will stop me from being with my favourite hedgehog'
I smile at Manic and he smiles back and laughs.
'Thanks Scourge, I love you man'
'Love you too'
