Fleetway's Torment

Deception

(Exe Pov:) Fleetway has not been back from looking for Scourge.. there is no chance that he lost but...I must find him. I don't want them trying to manipulate my hedgehog.

I turn myself invisible and teleport to Fleetway, when I see him he seems perfectly fine but...he is with Mephiles and Silver!?

He seems calm...happy to be here? They haven't attacked him? This isn't what I expected... well I should try to talk to him ..though more in private.

I put my arms around Fleetway and he seems to be shocked for a moment and he tries to shake me off, I then teleport while holding him.

(Silver pov:) 'Fleet? Are you here?' I look around for him but don't see him once. I scratch my head a  bit.
'He likely left to fly around for a bit.'
'Good point Mephy.' I walk over to Mephiles who is sitting in the kitchen and give him a hug which he reciprocates.

(Exe Pov:) Fleetway breaks free of my grip and seems startled.
'Hey whatever ghost is doing this, you better take me back before...I...' He then realizes he is at the Sanctum and connects the dots, I start to grin and laugh from his face of embarrasment before I end my invisibility.

'You had no idea, Fleetway.' I say in between laughs which causes him to blush in embarrasment.
'I guess I'm just a bit tense...'
'Tense of what? Surely you are not afraid of your friends?'
'Well no...but...  there was this..jackal guy called Infinite that attacked me. When he did, I saw a hallucination or illusion or something like that...'

I keep my eyes on Fleetway and focus on what he says. 'What did you see?' I say curiously. 'You..dead...mutilated. You were dead and I felt like it was my fault. I wasn't fast enought...' Tears start to pour out of Fleetway's eyes and I quickly find myself hugging him tight. 'Fleetway, I am deeply sorry you saw that. If I ever did die..if it is possible... then do not blame yourself for my passing...'

Fleetway cries a lot and hugs me back and then cries into my shoulder while I pat his back.

'I...I love you...Exe.'
'I love you too Fleetway....I know suffering will fall upon them for what they did to you.'
'I hope so.'

Slowly, I wipe some tears from Fleetway's face and he smiles.
'Now there is the hedgehog I love. Tears do not suit your beauty.' (I thought Exe's sense of beauty would have something to do with blood. Lol)

'Well..y-you are better looking than me.'
'No, your golden spikes are much more attractive than my simple blue ones.' I receive a blush from my last statement.
'Aw Exe..you're so charming.'
'As are you, my love.'

At this point he is no longer crying and he looks much more happy than before.
'What do you wish to do, Fleetway? Spend some time with me or go back to your friends?'
'Friends. But I'll see you after, okay?'
'Very well.' I take his hand and I teleport him to the front of Mephiles and Silver's home.

As I am about to fly in another direction, Fleetway shouts.
'Where are you going?'
'To find Infinite.' I then dash away in search for Infinite.

(Fleetway pov:) I'm lucky I have him. I knock on Mephiles and Silver's door and Silver answers.
'Oh you're back. Wanna come inside? I made a drink for you.'
'Thanks but..I'm going to go to Manic and try to apologize for what I did...if he tries to make me leave then I will...'
'Alright... well I'll see you soon.' Silver says to me with an innocent smile as I wave back to him before flying away.

(Exe pov:) Sensing the one I am searching for is near, I lower myself towards the ground and peak through a window, inside I see a red wolf and a jackal sitting and watching TV. The wolf seems incredibly cuddly with the jackal whom I can sense power from, specifically from the ruby embedded in his chest.

I could easily kill them both and steal the ruby for myself though before I can, I feel something hard hit into my side. I look and see Shadow who is in much better shape than how I last saw him.

'Hmm Shadow, do you have a death wish?'
'You are the one with the death-' I lift him up by the neck and dig my sharp fingers in.
'Must I remind you of the last time you saw me...or the time I killed you?' He struggles in my grip and tries to kick me but misses. 'You stood no chance against me and only because of my pity you lived the last time. If not for me...you'd be dead...'

I release Shadow and get an idea. I hit him hard round the back of his head and knock him out. Then, I place my hand on his head and begin to alter his memories to think Infinite attacked him instead of me.

'That will be useful.' I smirk and look at Infinite who is still with the red wolf. I focus on him, every single aspect of him including his gloves and shoes. Soon I have copied all of his looks including his voice, the only difference being my nails are barely contained by the gloves. 'Now to dig an even deeper pit for them.'

I grin and fly towards Mephiles and Silver's home. Landing outside, I knock on the door and see Silver who looks tense at the sight of me.
'May I come in?'
'Zero?' I hear Mephiles say from within the home as he walks over.
'So...can I come in?' Silver and Mephiles move out the way and let me in, unaware of my true identity.

'I want to apologize for what I did-'
'Apologize to Fleetway when he returns.' I hear Mephiles say.
'When he returns, I will.' I can feel my temptation to attack grow as I look at Mephiles before turning my attention to Silver.
'May I have a drink?' Neither Silver or Mephiles move but Silver looks at him with an expression that just reads "Can you please do it" and Mephiles sighs and walks into the kitchen.

As Silver watches Mephiles walk into the kitchen, I remove my gloves before moving behind him and bring my left hand near his chest with the tips of my nails against his white fur.

'Z-zero what are you-' I stop him from talking as I place my other hand over his mouth. 'Ssssh ssssh sssh. It will all be over soon.' I say as my cold breath hits his neck and he shivers. I bring my mouth closer to his neck and bite down, enjoying the taste of his blood before moving my hand that was near his chest, closer and cutting it open which causes his blood to spray out.  Silver makes muffled cries which I savour hearing.

'Ah those lovely sounds Silver. I'd end you here but I need a messenger. Tell Fleetway I want him at his best the next time we meet.' I then laugh and teleport away.

(Nobody pov:) Mephiles walks back into the living room and looks at the bloody state of his lover on the ground which causes him to drop the drink he had made for Zero, smashing it into a million pieces. He rushes over to him and places his hands over Silver's bleeding neck and chest. Mephiles is too shocked to speak.

'M-Meph.il...es...' Silver says before falling unconcious from blood loss. Mephiles picks up the hedgehog and creates a portal to the hospital which he steps through, where he sees Fleetway and Manic talking. He places Silver on a bed nearby and runs for a doctor nearby while Fleetway and Manic look at Silver in horror.
