Fleetway's Torment

Ignorance

(Fleetway Pov:) I wake up and find that I am still on Exe's lap. I look up at his smiling face and find myself blushing and smiling back.
'Hey Exe'
'Good morning my dear Fleetway' Those words just made me love the guy more.

I slowly stand up and stretch a bit, I then turn to look at Exe and hug him and while hugging him, I take the oppertunity to pick him up
'Hehehe. You should see your face Exe!' I say once I see his adorable smile.
'Ah w-well... your face is more adorable then mine' He said in a happy but slightly embarrased voice

I walk into the kitchen while still holding Exe 'Well then, what ya feel like having today?' I let Exe get down and he opens up a secure cupboard which had a lock on it and some kind of magical enchantment as I see some red energy come out of the lock as he does.

Inside the cupboard are jars that are full of what looks like glowing orbs which are different colours. Exe takes off the lid of one of the jars and grabs a red orb. When he does, it seems to try to move or run away like it is alive but Exe then puts it in his mouth and eats it

'Mmm. The red ones always taste the best.' He says with a pleased voice like he had ate something he really liked
'So uh.. what are these, Exe?' I ask curiously
'Oh you see, these are souls'
'Souls? Like actual souls?'
'Yes.. real souls that used to belong to people or animals'
'Just bad people though?' I hope he says yes
'Of course, we don't kill the innocent' Exe says with a smile
(Writer: Before you ask, obviously this is a lie. Fleetway's just too in love to think he'd lie)

'Well...are they tasty?' I ask, Exe seemed to really like them so I'm sure they do taste good.
'Of course. I can tell that you want one if you asked that question'
'That obvious huh? Hehehe'
Exe removes the lid from another jar which had another red soul. Exe seemed to find something funny as I heard and saw him laugh

'Oh the luck you have' what does he mean?
'What?'
'The soul I am offering to you... is Eggman's!' He bursts out into laughter and so do I. He passes me Eggman's soul which seems to try to escape from my grip but fails.
'Heh... this is for everything he did to me' I then throw his soul in my mouth and eat it. The taste? Delicious.

'You liked that didn't you dear?' Exe pats my head and we both smile
'Yea. For such an ugly and annoying person, his soul tasted good!'
'Heh, most souls are like that. Belonging to worthless unattractive people and tasting better due to it somehow. The same works for hearts.'
'So Tails' heart tasted like heaven?'
'Hehehehe indeed it did'

Exe puts the lids back on the jars and shuts the cupboard door and locks it again, red energy goes into the lock and it seems to now be protected

'So what does that energy do?'
'It acts as a barrier so if any souls got out the jars, they couldn't escape. It also works as a shield so if something tries to get into the cupboard by brute force whether they be a wraith or another creature, they cannot get through.'
'Heh. Well thats smart and pretty cool!' I pat Exe on the back and he smiles.

The both of us look each other in the eyes and I think of kissing him again but the both of us see a bright red flash of light and shut our eyes.

When I open my eyes I see a large hedgehog that looks a bit like Exe but a lot less cute and with an odd X on his chest. What does he want?

Exe seems a bit confused but angry that someone is within his sanctum.

'Why are you here and who are you?' I say as I put myself between Exe and whatever it is.
'My name is Lord X and I happen to be here for you!' They say with a smile
'Hey I was kidnapped once before! I'm happy here thank you very much!'
'Happy? With this monster?' They point to Exe and I bear my teeth and growl in anger
'He is not a monster. He is my boyfriend. I will not let you call him that!' I look at Exe who seems to smile thanks to what I said.

'So..Lord X.. why would you need Fleetway?' Exe says in a cold voice, I think he's trying to intimidate him.
'Well from the way I've been told, you kidnapped him and no one has seen him for 6 months'
'Well... I wouldn't call that kidnapping. I'd call that helping! He made it so I don't hear the voice in my head!' Lord X seemed to frown from what I said but I don't really care about him.

'Who told you this, X?' Exe says with a hint of malice. Do these two...?
'Oh just Fleetway's brother, Scourge' Scourge?! He wants me to go away from Exe!?
'Why!? Why would he want me to be away from the best guy I've ever met!?' I say with anger as I hug Exe.
'He seemed to believe against it. Believing you were not 'happy' with him'

'Well...tell him he can go fuck himself!' If he wants me away from Exe then he has another thing coming! (Writer: oof fleetway. Man hasn't seen you in 6 months and you say this)
'I see. Well then I guess I must inform him you will not come back. But do you really love Exe? Does he really love you?'
'YES NOW GO AWAY BEFORE I-' I couldn't breath..he was choking me. He seemed to have red telekinesis. At the sight of me being choked, Exe grabbed Lord X by the neck.

'Release Fleetway..or I will end your life' Lord X didn't seem to take this seriously until Exe's claws dug into his neck slightly. Lord X silently released me and I panted for breath.
Exe moved his hand away from Lord X's neck and moved over to support me and pat my back.

Exe hugs me and looks at Lord X with more malice. He was saying something but my head felt foggy and I didn't hear it

(Exe pov:) 'and to think you were once a god, X. Now you are just following foolish lowly mortals. How insulting' X doesn't seem to like my statement as he looks angry.
'I have that life behind me. I have someone that showed me death isn't always the answer' X best not be thinking of whom I think he is
'Ugh..Majin isn't it? So you, a god, were stopped by some moron who just likes... 'Fun' ...' I hate that word.. (Writer: bro Exe...)

'I'm not the only one who has a partner. Look at yourself. Look at Fleetway..'
'Just leave...now...before I get the temptation to actually kill you'
'If you can'
'Don't test me' X smiles and then teleports with another bright burst of red light.

'What were you talking about?' Fleetway says in a confused tone.
'It is not important as of now. I was just stopping an old rival of mine from being more stupid than they already are'
'Heheh' Fleetway laughs so I kiss his head and he smiles

'Lets take our minds off of this moment. Would you like to go and kill some wild life with me? They have a delicious taste' I say with a genuine smile
'Sure!' We hold hands and then leave the sanctum.

(Writer: I'm going to explain here why Exe and Lord X didn't seem to know each other at first but really do. Exe and Lord X are rivals and knew each other in the past. When Exe was just a soul like before he possesed sonic, he was still able to kill without a form and one time he had tried to kill Lord X who been seen talking to Majin. The two had a battle and tied as neither could die as Exe had no true body and Lord X was unkillable due to him being able to resurrect himself. So the two had made a rivalry. This was years before this meeting so both had somewhat forgot about the other until this conversation reminded them of one and other)

(Anyway with that long explanation out of the way, this part has 1473 words so I hope it is enjoyed.)
