Fleetway's Torment

(Nobody Pov:) Scourge and Manic are talking about Fleetway and the hope that X will be able to bring him back

(Scourge pov:) 'Manic, I'm just worried okay? Its been 6 months, what if he isn't himself'
'Scourge just try and be optimistic-'
'Its hard to when its took X this long to get here' He better be okay.....I'm sure he will...
'He'll be ok. I promise-'

'Could you both just ...Quiet down?'
I look to my side and see that Zero is leaning against a wall with a frustrated expression

'Well soooorry! Maybe I'm worried about my fucking brother , officer grumpy!' Jeez why can't he just let someone be happy for once. Is he jealous that I'm happy? Is he a baby!?
'Ugh!'
'Listen could you two both just...'

I get right up to Zero's face and he seems angry

(Nobody Pov:) Scourge and Zero are both getting closer and closer to each other with each expression growing more and more frustrated as they look like they are going to attack each other. Manic is still trying to talk them down and as it looks like they will attack, a red burst of light appears and then the familiar sight of Lord X

'I was not gone very long, can I not leave you two alone for that long you will divulge into fights-'
'Shush, where is Fleetway!' Scourge says in a panic
'Oh him. He is fine-'
'Then where is he?!"
'Calm yourself, he says he is fine with being with Exe. The two of them seem to be happy together and I decided not to separate the two of them as they seem......

In love'

(Scourge Pov:)No no no! He has to be fucking joking he can't be happy with that monster. He can't love..it can he?! This is all some fucking joke!

'Do you think...that is funny?'
'Who said anything of fun? I am simply stating a fact-'

I run at X and try to punch him but he freezes with me his power again but I can still breath

'My brother can't fucking love that creature! That fucking..beast! He has to be under some kind of mind control or something-'
'No...I can assure you that he isn't-'
'PLEASE JUST BE FUCKING JOKING! HE CAN'T....CAN'T..' I can't accept this...my brother couldn't be...in love with that...willingly... I don't believe it. I can't.

(Nobody Pov:) X releases Scourge and Scourge just bursts out into a crying fit. Manic sees this and immediately hugs Scourge who hugs him back. Lord X feels some sympathy but from his face you wouldn't be able to tell. Part of Zero cared...

(Zero Pov:) What is this...I don't care about this hedgehog do I? No. No. This... this is weakness or.. this is just my mind playing simple tricks...

I turn to look at Scourge and Manic who still seem to be embracing. If I must feel this emotion ... I will make it as short as possible

'I can ...tell your friends about Fleetway' Scourge seems quiet and doesn't answer but Manic does
'Please do but...how do you know our friends?' Oh if only he knew.. but why would I tell him?
'I have my ways...you both have my...sincerest regards about your brother'

(Nobody Pov:) Zero walks out the hospital. Manic and Scourge end the hug and Scourge is now not crying. They both turn to look at Lord X who is standing there awkwardly.

'Well I...best be going. I'm just glad for you that your brother is alive! Gotta accept his choices for loving a monster like Exe! What an accepting person!'
'Wait-' and with another red burst of light, Lord X is gone again.
(Writer: Lord X literally like 'Aight, I'm out. Bye')

'He'll...be fine Scourge... sure he has made a bad decision but he's strong. He can take care of himself.'
'Yeah..' Manic places Scourge down in a chair.
'Well Scourge I can't have you feeling all sad so..lemme get some stuff for us two!' Manic turns towards the front of the cafe (which is where they are sitting at and not many people were eating there so thats why no people cared about this whole situation) and orders some hot chocolate for them both and some muffins and after being given them he walks back to Scourge and has a smile on his face as he places them on the table.

'Well Scourge, I hope you enjoy this'
'I will and... you do know I can enjoy any moment..if its with you' The two of them smile at each other
'Theres the smile!'
'Shut up' Scourge says in an embarrased but happy tone
'Never!' Manic laughs and has a drink of his hot chocolate and accidentally burns his tongue from drinking it too early/too quickly.
'Ah thats what I get!'
'Hehehehe!' Manic knows that Scourge will now tease him about this for a while, he's use to it and it makes him happy.

Manic goes to pick up a muffin but Scourge holds his hand and winks at him and the two of them blush at each other.

'I love you..Manic'
'I love you too Scourgey~'
The two then enjoy the rest of their lunch/dinner and enjoy one and others company, trying to keep Fleetway out of their mind which is successful after a while (oof to Fleetway)

(Writer: Fun but shorter chapter in comparison to the last. Anyway I enjoyed writing it)
