Fate of the wolf

(Shadow Pov:) 'Are you insane!? Why would you think that is a good decision!?' Does he even remember what Exe had made me do? Does he want Exe to own them!

'Because it would bring him back! There wouldn't be any problem with that and I trust Exe!' Fleetway says in response.
'Did you just forget about him torturing you for six whole months? The six months where I was forced to be Exe's mindless assasin? Though then again, you may have now filled that role-' Fleetway clenches his fist and almost hits me in the face though purposely misses. I glare at him.

'Shadow, Exe has changed! Why can't you accept that?' This idiot is more stupid than Sonic was.
'Because he isn't the type to change. Six months ago, you were a more calm and reasonable person yet now..after the six months and after being with Exe, your rage is higher than ever-' Fleetway's eyes glow red.

'Shadow, he. Has. Changed. Why the fuck are you trying so hard to piss me off?' Piss him off?
'I'm only trying to convince you that what you feel for Exe shouldn't be trust, but hate-'
'Well, I love him and he loves me. Just fucking accept that he's changed and that I can love him!' Ugh...the fool.

(Fleetway Pov:) I'm not fucking listening to him.

I look at the wolf that Mephiles killed and pick them up.

'Fleetway don't-'
'Shut the fuck up. Now what was that guys name? X...something...Lord? Lord X!'

After a red flash, I see the tall hedgehog infront of me.

'Hey...can you-'
'Bring you to your lover?' X says in a calm tone.
'Uh...yeah...'
'X, don't take him back there-' Shadow shouts before being interrupted by Lord X.
'Love is love. I will not block it.' He starts to glare at Shadow and his eyes shift and distort as he looks at him. 'Fleetway cares for Exe. Exe cares for Fleetway. Now you will not try to stop this again... understand?'

As I look at Shadow, I realize that his eyes are shifting and distorting like X's.

'I..understand.' Shadow says weakly.

I look at X who's eyes are now normal. He smiles at me.

'Is he-'
'Hypnotized? Yes. Yes he is. Its only for a short amount of time but still useful.'
'Well...its kinda funny to see Shadow like this.' Shadow is standing completly still with his eyes shifting and changing colour. He looks as if he is that mindless that he would do any command. 'Heh. I dare you to make Shadow do something embarrasing.'

X smirks. 'Shadow, bow.' The moment he says that, Shadow bows to X with a stupid look on his face.

I laugh and X does the same. After a couple seconds, I turn to look at X.

'Hey...thanks for...defending me earlier.'
'No problem. It is no ones place to judge another's love if they truly love each other. Perhaps I had once thought you were a fool when I had first met you but..I see now I was wrong to do that. As he is.' He motions towards Shadow.

'Well its about time I bring you to your partner.' I smile, ready to see Exe again as another red flash occurs before I once again am inside the sanctum. I place the wolf down on the floor carefully.

'Thank you X.'
'You're wel-' He stops talking from a moment as I hug him. He seems to be took off guard from this. I guess he doesn't like hugging or just isn't used to it.

But slowly, he pats my shoulder and I end the hug.

'There is only one other who hugs me... their hugs are more possesive... your hug felt somehow..grateful, comforting. It is hard to describe but...you have my thanks for this gift.'

'You're welcome. But..thanks again.'
X nods his head down and then after a flash, he is gone once again. I smile, look around and wonder where Exe could be.

First bet. Kitchen or Bedroom? Knowing how much Exe loves eating hearts, he could just be in there...but then again. Maybe he is in the bedroom.

I pick up the wolf's body and look between the direction of the kitchen and the bedroom.

Where could he-

'Ugh...'

A blush goes across my face after I hear Exe. He sounds like he was in the bedroom but...why would he make that noise? Is he...

He isn't is he?

I blush even brighter at the idea of what Exe could have been doing. I smirk at the thought of embarrasing him so I quickly rush to the bedrooms. Careful to not drop the wolf.

As I reach the bedroom, I see Exe hunched over in a way that seemed to   confirm my theory.

'Heh. Did I catch you at a bad time, Exe?' Exe turns round with a smile after hearing me.
'I didn't hear you come in, Fleetway.' (Ayo) 'To answer your question, a group of wraiths attacked me. I fought them off though one managed to cut me.'

Exe stands up and shows me a cut that one had gotten on his thigh. Realizing that he had only gotten a cut, I feel embarrased and blush once again.

'What did you think I was doing?' Exe says with a confused expression. Stuttering, I try to speak. 'W-well... I heard you  make that noise... a-and...saw you...and it looked like you were...'

Exe starts to laugh a storm and I get increasingly redder and redder. 

'You ...hahahaha! Oh Fleetway, you always find a way to surprise me.'
Heh. Guess I do.

Placing the wolf down, I give  Exe a light hug and he hugs back. After a few seconds we break away.

'So...what is with the wolf?'
'Oh them...uh...well can I ask a favour. Can you kind of-'
'Bring them back to life? Yes...but I still want some context for them.'
'Well...Its someone Mephiles killed. He was going for Infinite and hit them.'
'Blood for blood.'
'What?'
'I assume this is a blood for blood situation. Mephiles hurting this wolf due to something happening to one of Mephiles' friends.'

Is he not telling me something? Its probably nothing but... its odd..

'Well...Infinite hurt Silver and then Mephiles wanted revenge so attacked him. The wolf saved Infinite and... died for it.'
'If that is the case then why are you asking me to resurrect them?'
'Because...they didn't deserve to die. They tried to talk down Infinite from attacking and it worked....then Mephiles attacked.'

Exe has a skeptical expression before it returns to a smile.

'Very well. I'll resurrect him.'
'Thanks Exe.'
Exe nods his head and crouches down on his knees before placing his hand on the wolf's chest. Red energy glows and flows from his hand into the wolf. 
Exe then stands up and looks at me.

'Its done. They are alive.'
'Thank you again Exe.'
'Your love is the only gratitude I need.'
Instantly, I hug Exe tightly and he laughs once again. Before ending the hug, he gives me a kiss on the cheek.

'Where'd I be without you, Exe?'
'I could say the same, dear.'

The two of us momentarily look at the wolf  and think of what we could do.

'You know what...I have an idea if you're fine with it, dear.'
'What is it?'

Exe creates a portal and motions picking up the wolf and then at the portal. I imagine he wants to throw him through. No one would know one of us threw him.

'Sure. Let's do it. Not too hard though.'
'Of course.'

The two of us lift them up and throw them into the portal. It closes and we grin.

Suddenly, we hear a shriek within the sanctum.

'More wraiths....wish to help?' Exe extends his hand and I hold it. 'Sure'

(Nobody Pov:) Exe and Fleetway then explore the sanctum for wraiths and kill any they find.

Meanwhile, a few hours later, a certain jackal awakened in an empty home. He moves his arms around in attempt to reduce the numbness within them when a familiar hedgehog walked up to him.

'We need to talk.'
