(Nobody Pov:) Zero travels over to Silver and Mephiles' home. Before knocking on the door he wonders the best way he should tell them

(Zero Pov) Perhaps...its best if I phrase my words a certain way. Considering Scourge's reaction....

So Fleetway is alive but I have no physical proof and he is willingly living with a psychopath... No

Fleetway's alive, he's living with a psychopath, goodbye ...no...

Your friend is alive bye ..no

Fleetway is alive but he lives with that psycho that killed those people- you know what.. fuck it.

If I must tell them bluntly then I will. Unlike others I am not afraid to be blunt though...

(Nobody Pov) Zero thinks for a moment what his best move is for now until he decides to just knock the door.

Within the house, Silver and Mephiles are talking in their living room. Part of it was about ordinary, day to day things but the other was of Amy. Silver heard the door so began to walk to it.

(Silver pov:) I wonder who is at the door. Maybe its Scourge or Knuckles. I wouldn't mind the company. It'd probably help me and Mephy. I best open the door!

I walk over to the door and see an unfamiliar outline yet..somehow they seemed familiar. Who actually is that? I open the door and see a jackal who is wearing police clothes. Maybe they are going to ask me about Amy!

'Hello, How can I help you?' I say as I observe the officer. They seem..a bit upset.
'May I come in?' They want to go in the house?
'Oh ok' I move out the way and allow the officer to come in, then lock the door. The officer walks into our living room and sits on a chair, Mephiles is sitting on the sofa and I sit next to Mephiles.

'So Officer...?'
'Yes? Ah you meant why I am here..well its about a friend of your's' A friend.. he likely means Amy or Tails
'I wouldn't consiser Amy a friend' Mephiles began 'More of a pest'
'Mephy...' I can't believe he'd say that.. sure she's now ....killed Tails but..she was at least... my friend..

'I am not referring to Miss Rose'
'So you mean Tails?' I still wish...the last time we saw him was better than..what did happen.
'Not the fox either' Huh? So if not them then who? Scourge?
'So you are here to talk of Scourge?' I heard Mephiles say in a slightly more annoyed way.

'No, though the news I am about to give you did shock him and his boyfriend Manic, don't worry they are fine though' Now I'm very curious what the news is.
'Well what is it?' Mephiles and I say together, this causes a brief smile to form on my face as me and Mephiles blush at one and other before turning to look at the officer, waiting for his response.

(Zero Pov:) Well..its the time now. I hope there is less crying..

'Fleetway is alive'

(Mephiles Pov:) What? Is he taking me for a fool? He.. cannot be alive or does he see this as a joke...

'Are you using him as a joke? Because this is not very humourous, Jackal' If he dares to use him as a way to hurt me or Silver..then I will not be afraid to attack
'What do I have to joke about? He is alive' The jackal said. I look over at Silver and see his expression... he looks like he wants to believe this but is unsure..as I am so I pat his head.

'T-that is great' Silver begins 'But..h-how? Where?'
'The creature from before.. the one that killed Eggman and Shadow had kept him at his place of operations. That is where he has been for the last six months' No...
'The creature...will die the most terrible death possible' I will end it if it is the last thing I do

'There is more... Fleetway seems to be in love with them-'
'What?' Silver and I say at the same time. Another attempt at a joke?!
'You heard right, Fleetway is in love with them' I get right in the jackal's face who slightly moves his head away in shock. This...is a joke I assume...

'You...do not think Silver and I will fall for something so ...ridiculous'
'Well its the truth. Fleetway does-'
'No..I don't think you understand. FLEETWAY WOULD NOT LOVE IT!'
'Sir I understand you think I am lying but I'm not' This officer must be a fool...he must be.

(Zero pov:) These are more hardwork than Scourge was. Perhaps I should just give up...

I get up and begin to walk to the door.

'Wait!' I hear Silver say so I turn round. 'Is it really true?'
'It can't be'
'Please, let him talk'

Mephiles seems to accept and goes silent, finally allowing me to talk once again, I don't care if it hurts him. I must be truthful.

'As I have been trying to say all along, Yes. If you don't believe me then you can call Scourge or Manic. That or the station nearby just..ask for Zero. Goodbye' Silver then unlocks the door and I walk away, back to the station.

(Mephiles Pov:) 'Well then..if Fleetway really is with that creature and...in love...' I hate saying that 'then he must be under some type of mind control. He wouldn't love them willingly, though...' He did choose to go out with me...and that was back when I was a less forgiving person... I shake my head 'No... I can't. Silver, I'm going to find a way to bring him back. Are you with me?'

Silver smiles at me a little 'Yea..we might want to grab Scourge first though' Why didn't I think of that?
'You are right Silver. Well since Manic is at the hospital, we will likely see him there'
'Yea and it'll be nice to see Manic too!'
So Silver and I walked out our home, locked the door and then walked towards the hospital.
