Fleetway's Torment

The maniac

(This chapter is going to be a little different as it will not follow Fleetway, Exe or Scourge and it will instead follow the jackal)

(Nobody pov:) The police were currently talking to Amy about the murder of Tails.

(Jackal pov;) 'Why did you kill the fox?'
'He kept getting in the way of my Sonic and he wasn't there for him when he got lost! My Sonic was missing for years. We thought he died! And I blame that little stupid fox for not helping him!'
'Hmm' God she's possesive. If the Sonic she is referring to is Sonic the hedgehog then she must he some obsessed fangirl or something. Doesn't help that whenever I look at her it looks like she smiles a bit, when something so ugly like this one smiles...
(Writer: What fun you are at parties, jackal)

(Amy and the other officer in the room who was a male red wolf looked at the jackal in confusion)
'Zero?'

(At the mention of his name, The jackal focused again)
'Ah right. My apologies..so Miss Rose, you killed Tails for not saving Sonic? You do know that Sonic  has been dead for years, even with Tails as a witness' Perhaps she does not believe the news/facts that the hedgehog is dead. It is unlikely that she knows more than us...

'That isn't true! Sonic went to my house yesterday and said he was proud I killed Tails! He even had a friend with him who must have helped him! I think his name was Fleetway-'
'What? Is this a cruel joke to you?' This must be a joke. If it is not a joke then it is back.

'No this isn't a joke! Sonic and his friend came to my house yesterday to congratulate me for killing Tails and said I should take the glory for killing someone so irritating.'

'So...Sonic and Fleetway went to you yesterday after being missing and assumed dead out of the blue just to congratulate you' Something isn't making sense about this.

(Zero thinks about the logic of this so the red wolf asks her a question)
'How does Scourge work into this?'
'He was just there at the wrong time! I had just finished killing Tails and then he walked in so in a panic I blamed him for the murder and you all believed me!' (Amy begins to laugh and Zero is about to punch Amy but the wolf stops him)

'Zero..calm down.. shes trying to get on your nerves'
'You...are right Rook' If it weren't for Rook stopping me, then she'd have a black eye right now.. it would work better for her stupid smiling face.
(Writer: Well he's cheery and yes Rook is short for Rookie, Aka the avatar from Forces)

'So...' I begin to say 'you are not on anything, taken anything and you have not been forced to say this and are saying and you did it under your free will?'
'Yes'
'Then...we'll see you in court, Miss Rose'

(Rookie and Zero leave the room and walk to another room as other officers escort Amy out of the room)
'Rook.. Can you go to her home and see if there is anything that could cause her to hallucinate?'
'Alright but where will you go, Zero?'
'To find Scourge, there could be a chance he knows something'
'Fine. Just don't let him get on your nerves. I know you are easily annoyed-'  does he dare? Even that minor suggestion annoys me. He's lucky that I work with him or maybe I'd hit him.

'Rook...are you trying to annoy me?'
'No just looking out for you. I don't want you losing your  job' Why does he care?
'I don't need you looking out for me'
'Well its what friends do' He sees me as a friend?

'I...guess I must thank you Rookie. Now we should go. Goodbye'
'Bye' (Zero watches Rookie walk away and he has a small smile on his face before walking out the station)

'I'm aware he has a boyfriend who is in hospital so I will likely see him there' (Zero then goes towards the hospital and walks in)

(He notices Scourge and Manic holding hands and sitting at a table. Manic looks a little better by the fact Scourge is just there and both are smiling and talking to each other)
'Well here goes'
