THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF KENT AND STRATHEARN ARE EXPECTING THEIR FIRST CHILD
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Kent and Strathearn are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Kent and Strathearn is expecting their first child.
The Duke and Duchess of Kent and Strathearn's first child will be third in line to the throne, behind Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Kent and Strathearn, and is expected to be born in the early Summer of next year.
Their Majesties King George and Queen Charlotte, His Royal Highness The Prince Regent and members of both families are delighted with the news.
The Duchess of Kent and Strathearn will undertake no further public engagements. Her Royal Highness deeply regrets the disappointment which her inability to carry out her projected visits throughout multiple places around the London area, but the Palace would like to clarify that the Duchess remains to be in excellent health.
