Devyn's POV:

JP leaving hit me harder than expected. I thought I'd be okay on my own, not having anyone closely watching me 24/7, being able to do my own thing, the rare silence in the room.
But then I realised, there was no-one there that knew exactly how to make me laugh, no-one who knew exactly what I'd want to eat, no-one to gaze at... I didn't just say that. Not at all.

I had a day alone in the hospital room - the day after they all left - but I didn't mind it; I had a tv, I had my phone, and I had a few puzzle books to do. It was nice to be surrounded by silence, every now and then listening to the world outside the hospital room, but it was peaceful nonetheless. I was in and out of naps, the nurse waking me up whenever she came to check on me, and in that moment I was pretty content. This experience had been nothing like my previous experiences in hospitals.

Then the following day, I woke up to an incoming FaceTime call from JP. A smile seemed to instinctively form as I grabbed my phone and answered it, anxiously waiting for the call to connect, and for his face to appear on my screen. "Hey, Devy girl." JP smiled as the call connected. My smile got wider as my eyes scanned over the screen. He looked to be in a hotel room on the bed, with his usual black zip-up hoodie on, the hood over his head as his hair fell into his eyes.

"Hi." I smiled, slowly but surely rolling onto my side, with a pillow wedged underneath me to keep me propped up still. "How's it in Germany?" I asked, already excited to hear their stories even though they hadn't been there that long. Their flight got delayed, meaning they got to Munich a lot later than anticipated, so went out for dinner then went straight back to the hotel to sleep off their jet lag.

"It's so nice here!" JP's eyes were wide and shining as he told me about the beautiful city they were in, and he rushed over to the window to show me the view almost as soon as I'd asked the question. He was clearly loving it so much! "God, I wish you could see it in real life." He sighed dreamily, making me softly smile at how thoughtful he always is.
"Me too. Maybe next time." I quietly spoke, my voice sounding loud in my silent hospital room.

God, I wished I was there with him, standing beside him as we looked out of the hotel room window, admiring the beautiful view together. But that wasn't meant to be. And I couldn't exactly complain; after all, he did get me the biggest gift I'd ever received - new boobs. But it pained me to see the crew out having fun together, while I was still in hospital, just barely getting by with the pain.

JP continued to tell me all about Munich, and about their plans for the day, before Slim called him away from the phone, telling him they were going for breakfast. That left me in my silent room, a sigh escaping as I stared out of the window. Okay, maybe I wished I had some company. It was beginning to get a little lonely.

"Good morning, Devyn!" The nurse woke me up the next morning to change my bandages and check the bruising. I greeted her back, a little groggily, and let her do her thing. "Alright, everything seems to be healing perfectly! I'd say we can let you out in a few days. Hopefully for mid next week." She announced with a wide smile, checking things off on my chart. Well, that made my day a whole lot better.

"I don't know if you were expecting anyone, but there's a visitor in the waiting room for you. I can bring him in, if you want." She suggested as she lingered by the door. I wasn't expecting anyone, but I also knew that I should be meeting Mod Sun soon, so I presumed it was him. "Uh, yeah, sure. It's the guys' friend." I smiled, watching her turn to leave.

The nurse came back a few minutes later with a man behind her - Mod Sun. He was wearing a white t-shirt and worn jeans with multiple bracelets and necklaces, with long dirty blonde hair and a stubble. He looked a bit hippie-fied, and which you could say I definitely didn't expect.
