Devyn's POV:

It was just over a week later, the third day of December, and JP and I had been seeing how things were going between us. We'd been more affectionate with each other in front of the guys, but none of them necessarily pointed it out and made a big deal out of it. Sure, there were a few comments every now and then to make us all laugh, but they didn't draw attention to us, which I was grateful for.

Everything still felt so new to me - their lifestyle, the concept of another relationship with JP, the idea of fans knowing about us. But I was gradually adjusting, with the help of my second family. They were great, really, and opened up to me about how they dealt with hate, so that I knew what was coming my way. I knew fans could be crazy, but I don't think any of their warnings could have prepared me entirely for what was to come.

JP and I had been on a few dates within that time, but never solidified our relationship status - however, it was pretty clear that we were exclusive. But that soon changed when JP asked me to spend the evening with him in London, Ontario, since we had a few free days before our next show. We were with the band all day, heading around the city and exploring, then went back to the hotel so that JP and I could get ready, whilst the guys were getting ready for a night out in the clubs.

I changed into my white-washed blue ripped jeans for a change, with a black band t-shirt tucked in, and my red flannel wrapped around my waist, my black boots completing the look. I looked at myself in the mirror, and I felt good; my arm tattoos were on display, my hair was curled down my back, and I had natural makeup on. Of course I made sure to look good for my night with JP.

When I met him in the hallway of the hotel, JP was wearing a black t-shirt with a white print on the front, an old white t-shirt underneath to poke out of the bottom of his top, with his usual skinny black jeans and boots, his bandana hanging out of his back pocket and a silver chain dangling from his belt loops. He'd also had a haircut the day before, too, so his hair was shorter on the back and sides, and he'd styled the long top of his hair up in a quiff. He was fucking hot!

"Ready to go?" He asked as he playfully held his arm out towards me, waiting for me to loop my arm through his. I laughed and nodded, walking to the elevator with our arms locked together. "Where we goin'?" I asked as we waited to reach the hotel lobby, impatient as always.

"You'll see." He was never one to spoil surprises. For some reason, JP always insisted on never telling me our plans, even when we were teens. But he knew that the element of surprise made the night that little bit much better, so stuck to his guns and never once caved. Though, I was still determined to make him break. One day.

JP called a cab, which took us to Fleetway - an activity centre. It was about 8:30pm, so the sky was darkening, adding to the thrill of being out for date night as JP led the way inside. He spoke to the receptionist, then dragged me through to another room. It was a bowling alley. He smiled back at me then got us all set up, already taking his first turn.

I stood back and watched him in his element. The muscles in his biceps flexed whenever he picked up a ball or moved to roll it, and he softly bit his lip in concentration. Unsurprisingly, he was just as good at bowling as he was at everything else, and every time he rolled it straight down the middle of the lane, he'd turn to me with a cheeky grin, biting his lip in the process. Watching him was honestly such a turn on.

The two of us got pretty competitive at bowling, every now and then we'd throw in playful insults to try and put each other off. But nothing could compare to our next activity. After bowling - which JP won, and made sure I knew about - he took us to another area inside Fleetway, which turned out to be glow in the dark mini golf. The course was dimly lit, with neon colors lighting the way, neon graffiti covering the walls and ceilings to give it an urban feel. It was unlike anything I'd seen before, and I couldn't wait to play with JP.
