Devyn's POV:

JP held my hand tightly in his as we walked over to the group that had gathered by the entrance of laser tag, the fighting talk having already begun between a few of them as they joked and teased. A few of them called out their 'hello's to me, a few even dapped me up, and I didn't miss the smirk JP wore from the corner of my eye. "Shuddup." I mumbled so only he could hear, receiving his infamous cackle as he tugged me into his side.

"Told ya so." He teased, and draped his heavy arm over my shoulders. I reached my hand up to intertwine my fingers with his, leaning my head against his as we followed the group inside. "You're a bitch." I grumbled, earning another laugh in response.
"I'm your bitch."

Well if butterflies didn't just erupt throughout my body, I'd be one hell of a liar. Damn right he was my bitch, and we didn't need to fuck to know that. Though, the sex was good. So fucking good.

"Will you show me tonight?" I innocently asked as I looked over at him. I watched as he slowly and sensually bit his bottom lip, his eyes already drifting down to my lips, before focusing on my eyes to keep his head clear. "If you're lucky."

When we got inside, they allocated us to teams. JP refused to leave my side, causing an uproar between a few of his friends and especially Kells; they wanted teams to be chosen completely randomly, and JP wasn't following the rules. But he was adamant, and willing to put up a fight. So, with that, Ashleigh let us two be on the same team, while JP smiled smugly. Apparently we were a 'package deal'.

The staff split us into three teams - red, green and blue. We were then took to get into our vests. JP and I were on the green team, along with Baze, and a few others of their friends. I'd lost count of who was who not long after two seconds into the introductions.

"You're going down, fucker." Kells grinned as he tried to square up to me. He was attempting to intimidate me with his unreasonable height. But clearly he didn't know me. "Oh, really?" I cocked my head to the side with a, hopefully, surprised smile.

"Yeah, motherfucker." He nodded confidently, although I noticed his moment of slight hesitance. See, it pays to listen more than talk. You start to notice people's mannerisms, and pick up on things others are likely to be oblivious to.

"We'll see." I nonchalantly shrugged as I spun on my heels to face JP, letting him fidget with my vest as we waited for the game to start. The vest wasn't the best fitting thing, making the two of us laugh as they looked huge on us compared to Kells and Baze.

"We're gonna take 'em down, right, babe?" I sweetly asked JP as he smirked at Kells over my shoulder.
"Of course, my love." He promised. We were the dream team.

The member of staff talked us through a long list of rules - all of which I just knew the boys would end up breaking. For starters, no running, and no crawling... How are you meant to do the James Bond roll if there's fucking rules?!

I could see the guys trying not to scoff, and trying to hold back their remarks as the staff continued to emphasise the rules. There was no need; it seemed we'd be lucky to get through one whole game at this rate, let alone multiple.

"Okay, in you all go. Go to your bases, the lights will go out, then wait for the buzzer. When the buzzer sounds, you may begin." The woman explained, before finally opening the door to the arena and letting us run riot. And holy shit. Ash and I had chosen a fucking great place!

The walls were painted dark and twisted into a maze, while there was some sort of temple structure in the middle with a podium. Neon paint was splattered on the walls, with swirls and psychedelic patterns painted on. Beams of neon were balanced on top of the walls, lighting the way.
