I yawned as my eyes squinted open, to the sight of an unfamiliar tent. "Tighnari what the hell"
Moving into an upright position, I gasped suddenly and placed a hand against my ribs, "what the fuck was in that medicine-"
"Awake I see."
I stopped moving for a second and widened my eyes. That voice was familiar. But it couldn't be who I thought it was, it was way too early for him to have found me already... Just as I thought this, another more worrying thought popped into my mind. I was being chased before, does that mean...
I looked up in trepidation at the man who had spoken. "Dottore." If venom was a name, it would be this one.
"Miss me?" He asked insincerely.
I tried to get up hurriedly and regretted it in an instant.
"Yeah, I wouldn't do that if I were you. You suffered some pretty serious injuries." He chuckled, watching my pathetic attempt at a glare. "Don't worry my dear. I made sure the person responsible paid greatly."
Furrowing my eyebrows at that statement, I tilted my head and watched as Dottore got closer to the ground I was on.
He lifted his finger up to stroke my cheek, then moved my hair behind my ear. "A picture of radiance."
"Get away from me." I hissed, pushing his hand away with a soft blush on my cheeks.
"That is no way to treat your lab partner now is it?"
"You are not my lab partner. I am not your assistant."
He grabbed the wrist of the hand that pushed his away and stroked it with his thumb, before pulling it up to his face. "Has anyone ever told you how delectable your scent is"
"I haven't showered in a long time you freak. Anyway, what are you a vampire?" I sarcastically remarked, trying to pull my wrist out of his grasp, but to no avail. I was weak in this state. "Where am I."
"It wouldn't be a secret location if I told you that."
"Tell me where I am Dottore."
"You were whimpering my name just a couple of hours ago." He faked sadness before laughing at my expression. Letting go of my wrist, he trailed his fingertips against the supple skin of my collarbone, fluttering lightly until they found a home by my waist.
"Dottore." Anger was present in my voice, I placed a hand on his chest and tried to push him away.
"y/n," his other hand made its way to mine. "You saw something you shouldn't have."
I halted my movements, "What?"
"What did you see behind my mask."
My eyes widened and glazed over as I remembered the surreal colour of his pupils and the patterns on his face. Those ruby rose orbs pulled me into a trance once again and I was ferociously curious about what it would feel like to delicately trace his cicatrices.
