The next morning, A-Lora was up earlier than usual planning to meet up with Zed and apologize.
Before the Alien could make it out of the door she was stop by a stern voice.
"And where you think you're going?" Amelia calls from the kitchen standing at the stove making what A-Lora could only assume to be pancakes.
"Happy morning Amelia, I have to get to school really quick today. I have made a mistake that I must fix imeadeatly."
Amelia turns the stove down as she makes her way over to A-Lora, Gadget following close behind her. "But you haven't had breakfast yet sweetie. And you didn't eat dinner when you came back home last night. Is everything alright?"
A-Lora let's out a soft sigh, "Not exactly. Cheer initiation was actually not what I thought it to be. I was placed into a bad situation, so now I have to go and apologize to my Zombie friend who may feel hurt because of the situation."
Amelia nods as she takes in the young girls words, "I see I'm sorry to hear it didn't go as planned. Hopefully you're able to make things right."
A-Lora smiles at Amelia, "Thank you. I too want for things to go well, I have to go now I'll be back soon Amelia."
The older woman smiles making her way back into the kitchen, "Alright hon, have a good day."
At that, A-Lora makes her way out the door walking as quickly as she could to school.
Upon arriving at school, A-Lora waits at the Zombie gate hoping that Zed hadn't already arrived at school.
As the young girl waits for her friend, she receives all kinds of strange and mean looks from both zombies and humans who questioned why she idly stood at the fence.
Slowly becoming impatient, A-Lora began to rock back and forth on her heels as she started to think that she had missed Zed. That was until she spotted a familiar looking head of short green hair.
Not to far ahead, she saw Zed walking with two other Zombies who she'd assumed were his friends.
"Zed! Zed! Over here!" A-Lora shouts gaining the attention of him and a few more students who passed by her.
Zed shook his head letting out a small sigh upon see the girl. She noticed how his female friend took on a defensive stance looking unimpressed as they approached her.
"Hey Alora." Zed starts hesitantly, "Did you need something."
A-Lora nods quickly, "Yes! I wanted to give my apologies to you for last night. I didn't realize that Bucky was putting us up to a treacherous task. I just don't understand why everyone treats you guys so different."
"Well, we are known to be disgusting dead eyed freaks who might I add eat brains, so take your pick." Zeds friend pipes up, not exactly fond of A-Lora.
"Oh, I didn't think about that. Still it's not right. Do your bands prevent you guys from going crazy, so shouldn't we be embracing your differences making you guys feel welcomed?"
The guy next to Zed nods completely agreeing with her words. Zed begins walking into the school motioning for A-Lora and his two friends to follow.
"Well that's Seabrook for you. The humans hate anyone and anything that's different. I just wish that I could show them that zombies are so much more than monsters, you know?" A-Lora nods understanding Zeds statement.
"But of course you wouldn't get it your a human, and besides, that's no excuse for your little cheer experiment." Eliza says to A-Lora still not kean on liking her.
