The next morning, A-Lora was up early floating on the ceiling. She discovered the cool trick one night while playing around with her Alien band.
Since then, it's been something she found herself doing early mornings while Amelia was sleeping. It often helped her concentrate and gave her a sense of home.
Upon looking at the clock that sat on her desk, A-Lora turned back on her bodily gravity realizing that Amelia would be waking up soon.
As she lands back onto the ground, excitement surges through her thinking about the plans she has in store for later that day.
A-Lora jumped at the thought of going to the Zombies mash. She had never been to a party before, as the Aliens of Sidara were not the type to party, but she was excited nonetheless.
After throwing on some dark jeans and a cropped long sleeved shirt, A-Lora made her way into the kitchen hoping to find Amelia cooking pancakes on the stove. Instead she was greeted by Gadget snuggled on couch and Amelia watching TV.
"Happy mornings Amelia." A-Lora beams brightly making her way over to the single couch chair.
Amelia hums a soft good morning and the two sit in a comfortable silence as the TV continues to play.
As the two sit A-Lora begins to reflect on the past two months she's spent with Amelia. The young Alien was extremely grateful to have met Amelia.
Without her, A-Lora wasn't sure where she'd be right now. "Amelia?" A-Lora calls out softly breaking the since between them.
"Yes dear?" Amelia responds keeping her focus on the television.
A-Lora takes in a deep breath before continuing, "I want to extend the greatest appreciation to you. You have taken me in and provided much care. I truly appreciate all you have done for me."
Taken back by such a heartfelt confession, Amelia turns towards A-Lora fear taking over her features.
"Alora. You haven't done anything wrong have you? Is everything all right?"
A-Lora chuckles at Amelia's worried nature. "No, I just really want to thank you. Before arriving here in Seabrook, I had a very difficult time. I am grateful for all of the kindness you have shown me."
"Aww Alora, sweetie, your like family to me now. I'm glad I have been able to help you."
A-lora smiles as her eyes begin to water.
"Tears? But I'm not sad." She whispers out quietly. Excusing herself, A-Lora heads back into her room, to do some research on why she was crying.

A few hours later, it was almost time for A-Lora to head over to the Zombie barrier.
After putting on her shoes, she made her way to the kitchen to find a note left on the counter. It sad that Amelia was out and would be back later that night. Smiling, A-Lora grabs a pen that had been lying around on the counter and writes a similar looking note on the other side.
