It's finally Saturday and A-Lora was up extremely early. She planned to see Addison and Bree before the two left for cheer camp.

Then later after that, A-Lora was going to hang out with Zack as the two hadn't seen one another for sometime.

A-Lora makes her way through the house to find both an empty kitchen and living room.

Seeing no note left on the fridge, A-Lora assumes that Amelia is sleeping. Wanting to do something nice for the older woman, A-Lora decides to make pancakes.

A-Lora looks through each cabinet hoping to find something that would help her make pancakes. After looking for what felt like forever, A-Lora finds a small box that read, 'pancake mix'.

"Yes!" She shouts to herself grabbing a bowl from the cabinets as she had seen Amelia do before when making pancakes.

"Now let's see. How do I make the pancakes?" A-Lora wonder's reading the label and instructions on the box.

Ten minutes pass and A-Lora is in complete distress. She's got pancake mix all over herself and Gadget who came into the kitchen just moments ago. She also couldn't figure out how long the pancakes were supposed to sit on the stove as her pancakes were sticking to the pan she found.

"It looks so much easier when Amelia does this." She sighs. Even through she was an Alien and an extremely smart one at that, she doesn't have many of the practical skills humans have.

They were never truly needed on Sidara and besides her mother was the one who took care of their meals and such and although the Aliens had a variety in food, it was never as big as the variety humans have.

A few more minutes go by with A-Lora burning the pancakes that stuck to the pan. That was until Amelia rushed into the kitchen worried about the burnt smell that was evident throughout the house.

"Oh my! Alora, what's going on, is everything okay in here?" A-Lora freeze's as she turns to face Amelia smiling.

"Ahh, happy greetings Amelia." She says waving her hands that were covered in pancake batter towards the older woman.

"I wanted to surprise you with breakfast but as it turns out, I am not an excellent cook. Although I thought I was going to be good at it but-" A-Lora begins to ramble on playing with her hands as Amelia makes her way further into the kitchen.

"Aww Alora sweetheart thank you. It's alright if you aren't a good cook. Everyone has to start somewhere. I appreciate you doing this for me."

A-Lora looks up from her hands smiling sheepishly. "I'm sorry Amelia. I will work much harder to improve in this trait." She turns towards the counter grabbing the plate of crispy pancakes.

"Would you like to try one." She smiles holding out the plate to Amelia.

Ameila laughs grabbing one of the pancakes off of the plate. "Sure thing Alora, thank you."

Ameila takes a bite a loud crunch sounding throughout the kitchen. A-Lora smiles at her excitedly.

"It's honestly not that bad dear. Here let's get all cleaned up in here and I'll show you how to properly make some pancakes."

The two smile as they begin to clean up all the pancake mix from off of everything.

After getting all cleaned and changed, it was finally noon, and A-Lora had to start making her way too Seabrook high to see off her friends.

"I'll be back home later, see you soon Ameila!" A-Lora shouts in the kitchen, grabbing her keys as she makes her way out locking the door behind her.

Upon arriving at the school, A-Lora began to feel a sense of sadness overcome her. She was happy that Addison and Bree were going off to have a good time but she was sad to think about the thought that they were leaving.
