Chapter 26

"Okay!" Addison cheers excitedly. "Why don't we show you guys around. I'm Addison, this is Alora." She motions to A-Lora the girl taking a step forward and smiling awkwardly.

"It is absolutely amazing for us to have you all join our school." A-Lora smiles.

"Hmm." The curly haired wolf steps forward somewhat skeptical. "I'm Willa, that's Wynter, and this is my brother Wyatt." Willa motions to Wynter who stood next to her, looking around at the auditorium in amazement. Wyatt stood next to Willa with a more serious look on his face his eyes pausing briefly on A-Lora before focusing back on Adison.

"It's lovely to meet you guys." Addison says and A-Lora nods in agreement. "Let's start the tour!"

As Addison showed the wolves around the school, A-Lora walked next to Wynter the two giggling at different things they found funny every once in a while. Each time the two laughed, Willa glared over at the two and they'd stop laughing immediately standing up straight. "Is she always this angry?" A-Lora whispered out as Willa glared at the two for what had seemed to be the hundredth time. Wynter nods as she begins to laugh again.

Someone from behind the two girls steps up placing their arms on both A-Lora and Wynter's shoulder. "I wouldn't say always angry but definitely on high alert." A-Lora looks back to find Wyatt smiling at her. "Although if I were you, I'd watch out for her. She's had her claws out for the last five minutes while watching you both joke around." Wyatt whispers that last part, sending chills down A-Lora's spine.

Wynter and A-Lora look over at Willa who had a her arms crossed and a scowl on her face. Then then turn back to face each other eyes wide. "I'd better get going. I have to head home. It was nice meeting you both." A-Lora smiles as she waves to the two wolves making her way back over to Addison.

"See you tomorrow?" She whispers to Addison not wanting to distract her as she was telling the wolves about the library, the phrase coming out as more of a question. Addison nods and A-Lora smiles as she heads towards the exit excited to head home and tell Amelia about the day she had.

Finally home, A-Lora burst through the door excited to see Amelia. Expecting to find the older woman in the living room, A-Lora rushes over only to find it empty. She then heads into the kitchen, hoping to see Amelia there. Yet again, A-Lora finds the kitchen empty and no note on the fridge.

A-Lora does  however find Gadget as the older dog happily strolled into the kitchen from down the hall. "Amelia?" A-Lora calls out softly beginning to wonder if something was wrong or if the woman wasn't home.

A-Lora creeps further down the hall as she sees a blue flickering light emerge from Amelia's room. "Oh no." She cries to herself not wanting to investigate any further. Still worried Amelia might be in danger, A-Lora slowly makes her way even further down the hall peeking just her head into Amelia's room.

"Amelia?" She whispers out softly hoping everything was truly fine. As she rounds the small corner in Amelia's room, the floorboards creaked as A-Lora made her way into the room.

What A-Lora saw made her want to breakdown and cry right then and there. Amelia sat on her bed, luma lens in hand. She was trying to lift it with her stardust powers but all it would do was spark and lift slightly before falling back down.

"Wha- What is going on. There- How di- How did you get that?" A-Lora calls out as she begins to shake. Amelia freezes looking over at A-Lora not having expected her to be home so soon. "Oh my. A-Lora dear it's okay. I can explain."

A-Lora frowns not having expected any of this. "How- how- this can't be possible. I mean, yes Aliens are kicked off of Sidara all the time but the exact probability of bumping into one. Let alone living with one is zero to one." Still in complete shock, A-Lora paces around the small room as she begins to ramble racking her brain with all the possible answers that could explain what was currently taking place before her very eyes.
