A/N - I really am sorry for being MIA these last few weeks. I'll try to do better with updates going forward
Italics = Bonzo speaking to/near A-Lora
---
As the second half of the game begins, the football players run back out onto the field, the crowd going wild with cheers and applause.
As the starting play begins, Zed immediately takes a starting lead, knocking down the opposing team and scoring points.
A-Lora lights up with excitement as everyone around her continues cheering as well.
The game continues on with Zed scoring more points each time. Sending the crowd into madness as many realize that Seabrook just might actually win it's first game in ages.
As the game comes to an end with Seabrook leading by 15 points, the anchor then comes over the speakers, "Seabrook wins? Wow, a win!"
At that, the crowd erupts into madness. A-Lora jumps up and down trying her best to keep up with the high energy everyone around her was exerting.
She turns to Eliza and the two girls jump and cheer together. Completely ecstatic over Zed's win.
------
After the crowds calmed down and began to disburse going their separate ways, A-Lora now found herself with Amelia, the two walking home
"That was such a good game. Did you enjoy it Alora?"
A-Lora smiles as the two continue down the street, "I found a great amount of satisfaction in the game. It made me feel very high energy."
"Very high energy? You sure are something dear. That high energy is excitement."
"Ohh, excitement. My apologies, I'm still learning the proper terms for many things."
Amelia nods having grown fond of the child-like nature of the young girl.
Although having spent a decent amount of time with A-Lora over the past few week has definitely risen more questions than answers about the familiar feeling girl with a strange past.
------
The next day, A-Lora found herself in the library with Eliza and Bonzo. She sat at the table reading while Eliza paced behind her and Bonzo did silently in the corner watching.
"Okay but just imagine how cool it would be if I could join the computer club."
A-Lora continues flipping though jer book on the 'Inner Workings of a Computer'.
"If Zed is able to win just a few more games, I'll be able to be among the socially elite. No offense to either of you of course."
Bonzo grunts before coming to join A-Lora at the table.
"Looks like Alora and I will have to join our own club." He smiles as she shakes her head.
"My apologies Bonzo, I am not as enhanced in the musical aspect of this world as you are. You would have to do that in your own."
Letting out a scoff Eliza then joins the two at the table.
"What are you good at Alora? You don't seem to know much." Bonzo nods in agreement.
Glancing over the title if the book A-Lora was reading, Eliza quickly takes it from her.
"The Inner Workings of a Computer!"
"This is what your reading? The last I knew you didn't even know what a pencil sharpener was and you're reading about computer functions!"
A-Lora winces at the mention of her mistake during class just last week.
"I should not have mentioned that to you. Now that you have decided to use it has a form of leverage."
A-Lora takes her book back from Eliza.
"Besides I am very intelligent. I just struggle with understanding certain human concepts as you all are not as advanced as I would have initially hoped."
"As advanced as you hoped? What's that mean?" Bonzo leans closer to A-Lora.
"Yeah care to elaborate because if were not as advanced as you'd have hoped that would mean you're way smarter than any of us." Eliza adds in mimicking Bonzo in leaning closer to the young Alien girl.
Feeling slightly panicked A-Lora leans away from the two.
"It does not mean anything you two. It's just that my previous home was very advanced in technology and Seabrook is not."
"It's quite simple really." A-Lora let's out a small chuckle hoping the two would change the topic.
Eliza and Bonzo share a quick glance at one another before deciding to buy into A-Lora's story.
"Alright then fine. Does this mean you'll join the computer coding club with me then?"
"Well-" A-Lora starts off her voice becoming slightly high pitched as she drags on the 'ell'.
"I don't think I will be joining any clubs. As much as technology interest me, I actually prefer art."
Bonzo smiles being someone who enjoys art as well.
"Does Seabrook partake in any art, other than cheer and music? Like drawing or painting perhaps?"
Eliza and Bonzo nod in union as A-Lora's eyes light up.
"Seabrook has an art club and it's very beautiful. The artists are amazing."
Eliza smiles adding on, "I haven't seen it myself but Bonzo knows what he's talking about. You two should check it out sometime."
A-Lora nods, "Most definitely. I really do find much satisfaction in drawing."
Bonzo holds out his hand for a high five, recognizing this motion from Zed, A-Lora reaches out and slaps her hand against his feeling a rush of excitement.
At that, the bell rings signaling the start of third period.
The trio grabs their things. Making their way out of the library. The two zombies wave goodbye to A-Lora as they make their way to the basement.
"See you at lunch?" Eliza confirms with A-Lora.
A-Lora smiles as she nods yes back at the two. She then head's towards the stairs preparing herself for her next class.
