It was a cool Tuesday morning and A-Lora was up bright and early getting ready for the day. Addison, Bree, and Bonzo were finally returning from cheer camp today and A-Lora was beyond excited.
She was planning on meeting up with Zed and Zoey agreeing to help him set up his proposal to ask Addison to prawn.
She had agreed to meet at Zed's house and the three would head out from there.
She grabs the bag of confetti and wires from her nightstand and makes her way to the kitchen, leaving a note for Amelia who was still sleeping.
After sticking her note onto the refrigerator she heads out of the door and begins making her way over to Zeds house.
Finally walking up to Zed's house, A-Lora spots both him and Zoey coming down the steps, with Zoey pulling a wagon.
"Happy greetings!" A-Lora runs up to the two smiling at Zoey and Zed.
"Hi Alora!" she cheers excitedly Zed beaming at the two.
"Alora, hey. You ready to get started?" He ask and the girl nods, shaking her bag of confetti and wires next to her face with a sly smile. Zed smirks and the three make their way out of Zombie town.
After making it to the highway, the three have been walking for almost thirty minutes on the side of the road laughing and talking about anything and everything.
"Alright." Zed sighs out, "I think we're far enough. Let's get to work." Zed says smiling and A-Lora and Zoey nod pulling out the signs and paint.
The three grab paint brushes and begin painting out word's on each of the signs.
After finishing her first sign, A-Lora goes to grab another board from Zoey's wagon and more paint. After setting the sign back down, she grabs her paint brush and begins to paint that one slightly turned toward Zed who was in the process of painting the word prawn on a sign.
"This is just oh so exciting," She says catching Zed's attention, "You and Addison are quite the complimentary pair. Back home where I'm from, I have never seen a paring as extraordinary as you two." A-Lora says lost in thought as she paints, not exactly thinking about what she was saying.
"But then again, no one would pair with another due to feelings. It was like uh-" She pauses for a moment folding her arms to think. "What is it you guys call them. It's like a promise but more official. They're uhh-" She paused again.
Zed looks over at A-Lora slightly confused and with somewhat of a heavy heart. "A business deal?"
"Yes!" She smiles now knowing what phrase she was thinking of. "Everyone got paired as a form of business. Of course that's not we called them in my native language but that's a close enough comparison."
Zed froze having learned more about A-lora in those few minutes then he's felt that he learned about her over the course of 10 months.
"Wait, wait, wait." Zed starts extremely confused, Zoey now intrigued moves a little closer to the two wanting to hear more. "You can speak another language? And what do you mean business deal? Why pairs? Were people not together because they loved each other?" Zed says shooting question after question.
A-Lora frowns now realizing that she had given Zed too much information about Sidara. "Uh well- I can no longer speak my native language. I can however understand it." She starts off slowly telling Zed a half lie. She could still speak her alien tongue but would have to be unmasked in her true Alien form.
But it all seemed futile as even on Sidara, the Aliens mostly spoke English. Only officials and the older ones of the population really speaking her native tongue.
