Jimin and my father were standing on opposite sides of the hospital bed when I woke up. My dad was to my left, and Jimin was to my right.

"Oh my gosh, y/n, are you okay?" Jimin said, sounding extremely concerned. However, this was not the case for my dad.

"Oh please, she's fine. No need to be so dramatic. She'll get over it and continue to be famous-"

I stood up. All of a sudden, the anger I had been holding inside for so many years began to surface.

"I thought you only wanted the best for me, but instead, you trained me day and night, giving me no breaks other than when I was sleeping or at school. You never learned anything about me, you worked nonstop to make me famous solely for your own reputation rather than out of concern for my welfare. I'm sick and tired of you just buying me useless gifts when you get home to make up for your absence. Even though I'm in a hospital bed, you're still not giving up. You're a terrible father,"

With that, He just stared at me with a disappointed look and left. Just then, the doctor came in to inform Jimin and me that I had fainted as a result of stress, dehydration, and lack of sleep. I was shocked, and when I looked over, I saw Jimin looking just as shocked as me. I start to cry as I realize that despite my best efforts, nothing has made my father proud of me. His approval was all I ever desired, but I never received it. My tears started to pour down my cheeks.

A tear from my eye is gently wiped away by Jimin. He had a soft smile on his face, but he also had a very worried look in his eyes.

STOP MAKING ME BLUSH, PARK JIMIN!

"Hey, don't cry. While you rest, I'll come daily to check up on you, and give you water, anything you need. Don't worry," Jimin said with the sweetest smile on his face. What he said came true, he checked up on me daily and I blushed every time he would tell me a joke to cheer me up. He was so funny. Just 20 days later, I fully healed! My dad virtually paid the hospital bills so that was how I was able to get out of the hospital. (My dad never visited, but I didn't care.) I gave Jimin a tight hug as soon as I left the hospital.

Jimin's POV
I couldn't help but smile when I saw y/n coming toward me from the hospital. I was so glad to hear that she was fine.

"Thank you for caring for me and visiting me every day," She gave me a warm hug and said to me with tears in her eyes.

Of course, y/n, I love you.

If only I could say that...

"Of course, y/n. I'll always be here for you," spilled from my mouth in the end. I wish I had the courage to tell her about my feelings. At least I could express all of my feelings in my journal.

Y/n's POV
I blushed. Given that I was burning up in the cheeks and looked as red as a tomato, I was confident that he noticed.

I love you, Jimin.

Sadly, I lacked the courage and strength to tell him that. But I could tell my journal that. I would write down every last detail in my diary as I poured all of my emotions out like a waterfall.

"Would you mind if I dropped you off at your house again?"

"I wouldn't mind at all. Sure,"

Of course, I wasn't gonna forgive dad that easily, I just couldn't face him after what had happened in the hospital. No way in hell!

"Are you okay? I feel awful about the way your dad treats you,"

"He always had high expectations for me that I never could meet. The moment I reach it, he somehow raises it higher. I always thought he just wanted the best for me. I did everything for him but he's never satisfied. He's always working and just gives me some pointless toys as a sorry gift... of course, I'm grateful, but, it's just too much..."
