I anxiously looked out the window every few seconds, hoping Jimin would finally arrive. I was so relieved when I saw his car parked near my house. I picked up the heavy luggage I had packed just a minute ago and burst the door to my room open, leaving a big gust of cold air through the house. I rushed down the stairs, I almost tripped but I thankfully made it to the front door. I turned the handle to open it to see Jimin's worried face outside my house. I ran to him with tears in my eyes.
"Jimin, please, get me out of here," I said, my voice shaking. Without a word, Jimin took a step forward and put his hand around me, he leads me to his car.
He opened the door and I got in, sobbing. I saw him run to the other side of the car through the big window in front of me. He opened the car door and got on the plush seat next to me.
"What happened?" He said in a concerned voice, I looked into his eyes and they looked so gloomy. He put the car in reverse and started to drive onto the road. Before I could explain, I looked over to my house to see my dad behind one of the windows, glaring at me angrily while holding his phone. My mind was a mess at that moment. Was he gonna call a hitman? I started to panick and I couldn't breathe.
"Are you okay? Please, tell me what's wrong," Jimin said, I can tell he was confused and worried about me. I ended up telling him everything before I even realized it.
"My dad..." I said, my voice trembling with fear. "He's a monster. He forced me to train day and night to be good at ballet even though I never wanted to be a ballerina. The reason why was that my dad always wanted me to be a star. I was on magazine covers at a really young age, but when I protested against my dad about being a star, he didn't listen. He never did. He never let me sleep or even get close to sleeping. He never gave me any breaks and hurt me when I made a single mistake.
"Why did you do that for him?" Jimin asked.
"He threatened to hurt you if I quit," I told him, my hands on my head from the stress that I was in.
Jimin came to a stop and parked his vehicle close to the neighborhood coffee shop "Grind Bay." He turned to face me, and I noticed that his eyes were startled and upset as I looked into them.
"You would do that..." He said, with sad eyes. I could tell he was about to tear up.
"For me?" He said, looking happy but upset at the same time. That's the best I could describe his expression.
"Why? I haven't done anything for you," He said.
"You have meant so much to me ever since you came into my life. You have always helped me and been so nice to me. You have saved me from going insane from my dad, I'm so glad I asked you where my class was,"
An angelic smile appeared on his face as tears streamed down his beautiful face.
"I never realized how much I meant to you, y/n. You were always there for me and I can't believe that you like me back," He said before driving off onto the road again.
^^^^^^
The car stopped and I looked up to see that we arrived at Jimin's house. I swung open the car door and closed it behind me. Before entering the house, I grabbed my luggage from the trunk. I didn't notice Jimin was right next to me, helping me out until I saw his hand next to mine. I looked beside me and saw him, carrying some of my bags. I tried not to blush as I started to bring the luggage into his house. When Jimin's mom saw us, she immediately ran to us, grabbing some bags to bring to her room. We finally dropped the luggage on the bedroom floor.
"So, you guys gonna sleep here again?"
"Yes, mom,"
Jimin's mom smirked at us before she ran out of the room without a response. Jimin and I gave each other weird looks.
"It's already eight, let's sleep," Jimin said. He reminded me that we had school tomorrow so I nodded and gave him a soft smile and he smiled back. As we sank into the plush bed, butterflies began to flutter in my stomach.
The Next Day
Jimin's voice woke me up.
"Wake up, sleepyhead," while smiling cutely. He tilted his head to look like he was laying down while he said it.
Are you trying to be cute on purpose, Park Jimin? Your gonna make me faint one day.
I got out of the cozy bed and stretched my arms in the air while yawning, causing my shirt to lift up. I could see Jimin's face blushing before I finally stood up, lowered my arms, and knelt down to open my bag.
ZZZZZZZZZZZIP!
When I zipped the bag open, my zipper made a noise. I picked up some outfits appropriate for school and carried them as I went to Jimin's restroom to get dressed. Jimin was standing in front of the bathroom door when I opened it a minute later.
"Wow, you look amazing, y/n,"
