"Hey, Jimin, I'm going to a party with some friends. You wanna come with me?" Y/n asked me. I saw that she was wearing a stunning party dress. It looked appropriate for an occasion like that. It's been a week since we moved into Y/n's uncle's house. We're all getting along, including Y/n's uncle and my mom. We both made some new friends at school, too. I was exhausted from my studies so I decided to decline Y/n's request. Plus, I don't have anything to wear to it.

"I'm sorry y/n, I can't go. I'm too tired,"

"Oh, that's okay. See you at midnight," she told me. Midnight? Although it is a reasonable time to return home from a party, I think that's a little too late.

I replied, "Have fun and be careful, I'll see you soon!" Y/n smiled at me before closing the door shut. Gosh, that angelic smile could kill anyone in seconds. I wanted something to keep me entertained, so I got up from my soft bed and walked over to the large bookshelf Y/n's uncle had added to our room for us two days ago. My eyes slowly moved around the shelf, struggling to find a book until one of them caught my attention.

"Crown of Silver" was the title of the book. The book's cover had a really fascinating design. The title was on top of the book in bold letters. It featured a woman with long, silky straight hair looking at the reader while seated on a throne with her legs crossed. Her face was perfectly symmetrical. She was given a crown by two hands that emerged from the book's two sides. The cover was outlined; it didn't have color except for the lady's bright red lips. At the bottom was the author's name. It appeared to be an old book, and that seemed to fascinate me. I pulled the book from the bookshelf, slightly toppling the books next to it in the process. Luckily, the books caught themselves before they could fall off. I carried it with me as I made my way over to the bed. I flipped the book open to the first page and settled into the cozy bed to begin reading.

"Chapter One: Your Majesty"

^^^^^^

I finally finished the book after seven chapters. The author did an impressive job writing this. Despite the fact that there was a lot of mystery and drama in it, I'm glad that it ended happily with the kingdom finally getting what it deserved; a caring king and queen. I decided to grab my phone to check the time. The bright glow of the light from my phone almost blinded me when I turned it on.

2:03 AM

WAS IT THAT LATE?

I was so interested in that book that I lost track of time. Makes sense 'cause the book was really entertaining. Wait, I shouldn't be worrying about the book and my sleeping schedule being messed up, I should worry about Y/n! She said she would be home at midnight but it's already way past that. Did she get lost? Is she still at that party? Did she get kidnapped? Before I could think more, I heard a noise.

CREEEEAK!

I quickly put the book down on my nightstand and turned to see who was opening the door this late in the morning.

"Y/n! Where have you been?" I told her, "I was worried about you!" She turned to face me, and I noticed how worn out she seemed to be. Her eyes looked heavy and she was slouched down, one of her hands was holding onto the door for support.

"Jimin..." She said to me, her voice shaky and low.

"I think I partied too hard,"

That was obvious.

"Well, yeah I can see that. Come on, let me help-" She interrupted me by putting one of her hands up in the air lazily, gesturing to me that she was fine and that she didn't need my help. She made her way over to the bed I was sitting on sluggishly before she finally collapsed her body down onto the crowd of cozy pillows with me. She looked really drunk like she had over ten drinks. I gently tucked her in. We were both lying down, facing each other. The strong smell of alcohol filled the room.

"How many drinks did you get?"

"Eh, I don't know. Maybe seven or eight bottles,"

No wonder why she was so drunk...

"You should sleep; you look tired,"

She looked at me with her adorable puppy eyes and pouted. My face was red, and I had butterflies in my stomach. I could tell she didn't want to sleep.

"Fine, what do you want to do, then?" I asked her. I still wanted her to get some rest because not sleeping isn't healthy for her. The amount of bottles she drank is also a concern. And I wanted some rest too. I figured this would be the best way to tire her out. After she falls asleep, I'll try to find a way to get my sleeping schedule back on track because it's clearly messed up now. She completely ignored my question, not giving me an answer.

"Jimin..."

"Yes?"

The next thing she said caught me off guard and made me freeze in place. My face began to turn red.

"Hold me,"
