Oikawa longly lengthened his arms above him, yawning loudly before unhurriedly descending on the carpet underneath him. After a few seconds of stillness, Oikawa got up from the floor & twisted his torso with his arms near his chest before he closed his maths notebook.
- This took longer than I expected it to... - Arūna uttered drowsily, clashing back another yawn. She closed her pencil case.
The girl reached for her unzipped backpack & yanked it towards her, setting away her books into the larger compartment. Arūna got up from the floor & dusted off the back of her skirt.
Grasping her folded school vest Arūna stood by the door while Oikawa watched her pack up. He sat back down.
- Um... - Arūna tugged at the ends of the black hoodie. - Thank you for having me today. I had a good time, and thank you for the jacket and meal.
Oikawa cupped his face & smiled:
- Keep it on.- But it's yours.
- That doesn't matter.
Arūna placed it back on & reached for the door handle.
- Come sit back down. - Oikawa lightly patted the table. - I still want to talk.
Arūna didn't oblige & went to sit in front of him. She adjusted her skirt as she sat down & positioned the black vest over her crossed legs. A small stillness fell between the two — a sort of staring competition as Oikawa didn't dare to look anywhere else but at Arūna.
It felt nice.
Oikawa positioned his hand on the table & began drawing random round & fluid shapes with his index finger.
- ...You know, Rūna'chan, you are very smart, but there are still many things you don't even know how to do. I think... - he traced his hand towards the girl's. - I think I could teach you a few things as well.
That silence didn't prevail for long since Oikawa desired to continue the conversation & not the quietness of his room.
- Is this about volleyball? My setter is back, so there's no need for that anymore.
Oikawa abruptly exhaled a fast sigh through his nose while his hand froze. The smug smile he wore now conveyed slight injury & embarrassment.
- But I'm not opposed to that. Being a setter is interesting.
Tooru felt the sudden burning sensation in his chest soothe. At least he'd done a decent job teaching how to throw a ball properly.
He held her hand.
- It's something else, Rūna'chan.
- Like what, then?
- Like kissing.

Arūna hung her head low while evading Oikawa's teasing gaze. She felt the searing feeling on her face rising second by second. Her hand, which lay on the table, was being gently stroked by Tooru's fingers.
In front of her was a guy whose personality had more layers than the earth's atmosphere. Even though Arūna deserted the eye contact, she understood there was no escaping Oikawa's fairly smug attitude, which was also filled with pestering & teasing. Yet, Oikawa still had a soft heart anyway.
This was... incoherent, to say the least.
- So, what do you, Rūna'chan? Would you like to learn? If anything, we could even call it a tutoring session.
Tooru's voice had chimed so casually as if nothing in his statement was out of the ordinary.
The question mirrored the tone of every other innocent query Oikawa ever bore for Arūna. Nevertheless, the fact that the question was displayed so purely made Arūna feel the heat on her face & in her chest expand.
In front of her, Arūna saw an angel with the horns of a devil on his head.
But besides the heat lingering upon her, everything else seemed... normal. She simply felt... Arūna simply felt relaxed.
Arūna wordlessly nodded after what felt like a decade. The words of her agreement she expected to say were accidentally swallowed like a piece of gum after seeing or hearing something surprising.
Oikawa remained silent for a moment, no longer caressing Arūna's hands. They only lay on top of hers.
- Arūna~, I can't hear you. You need to use your words for this.
The girl perked her head. My, my... she should've seen this coming.
Arūna glanced down at Oikawa's hands, soughing:
- Yes, Tooru. I... I would like to learn. - she agreed in an almost annoyed tone.
- Look up at me, Rūna. What would you like to learn?
- ...How to kiss.
The eye-contact Arūna managed to retain for just a few seconds immediately withered away as she darted her eyes towards the table again. God, this felt so embarrassing.
- That's more like it.
Oikawa gently seized Arūna's other hand, which was on her lap & placed it on the table near her other head. He tilted his head, leaning in a little.
- Have you been in a relationship before? You don't look like a blushing novice.
- ...Yes, I have. I've dated two people.
- Have you kissed them while being together?
- Yes... Yes, I have.
Oikawa's face lit up.
- That's wonderful! That means we might only need one or two more tutoring sessions to fully complete this lesson.
Oikawa calmed his smile while caressing Arūna's hands again. He looked up at the girl.
- Now Rūna'chan, the first step to kissing is holding eye contact before the kiss. I understand that's a little hard for you, so we can do this in smaller steps first.
Arūna only glanced up at him for a brief moment.
- Arūna~, come on.
She stared at the table.
- Arūna.
The girl looked up at him, causing Oikawa's grin to widen into a cheerful smile. He squeezed her hand a little.
- There you go! You're doing great, Rūna'chan.
Oikawa tilted his head:
- And now, all that's left is for us to get a little closer... Close the space, and then...Tooru gently leaned in & Arūna mimicked his movements.
- We kiss.
The moment there were barely just a few centimetres of space left, Arūna tilted her head & fully sealed the distance between them as their lips enclosed each other.
Tooru intertwined their fingers together, smiling a little.
