To say that I was nervous would be an understatement, I was currently internally freaking out as Imogen had begun to do my hair. She was helping me get ready for my date with Munro.

"Okay you're being way too quiet, what's up?" Imogen points out as she begins to wrap a strand of hair around the curling wand.

"I'm just nervous, this is our first date! What if it doesn't go well and it ends up being our last date too?!" Furrowing my eyebrows, just thinking of everything negative that could happen.

What if this is all just some big joke and he decides to stand me up?

Or what if this is just because of a bet he made with his friends?

Or what if he decides to humiliate me?

"Oh my gosh you need to relax! I can literally see the wheels in your head turning from your overthinking!" She chuckles. "Besides if things don't work out between you two you're still going to be the amazing Violeta that I know and love." She lets the last curl fall and leans over, placing both of her hands on my shoulders as we both look in the mirror. "You look beautiful V!" I smile back at her, I'm really thankful to have a best friend as amazing as her.

"Thanks Imy."

I got up from the chair and walked to my full length mirror so that I could do a double take at my outfit. Munro didn't really give me much to work with when I asked him how I should dress for where we were going. Thankfully I had Imogen here to help with picking out my outfit, so after trying on many different outfits we were finally able to settle on one.

I was wearing a white tank top that was tucked into a pair of light blue washed jeans and a light grey oversized knitted cardigan. Since I didn't know where we were going I wanted to go with something casual but still cute.

"Alright girl get your butt down there!" She smacks my butt which makes me yelp but then laugh shortly after before we both begin to head down the stairs.

Once I reached the bottom of the stairs I couldn't help but smile at the sight that was taking place in front of me. Munro was currently playing with Mateo right now, he was picking him up and 'flying' him across the living room. Mateo looked like he was having the time of his life. He continues to play with him until they end up faced in my direction and Munro's mouth slightly drops open before he places Mateo down.

"I see that you're still taking forever to get ready." He smirks and I playfully smack his arm once I'm close enough to him.

"Are you always going to say that?"

"Maybe." He shrugs before he leans down to my ear. "You look beautiful."

Before I could respond to what he said the sound of a photo being taken breaks me out of my thoughts. I turn over to where the sound was coming from and I see my mom holding up her phone, directed towards us.

"Oh come on Mom, really?"

"Yes really! You two look so cute together!"

"Yeah V! Let us take some photos!" Imogen begins to take photos with her phone as well, I look up at Munro about to apologize for all of this.

"We could definitely take some photos, I want to remember this." He places his arm around me and gives me a reassuring smile. "We'll have something to show our future kids." He winked at me and my face went bright red, but I couldn't help but smile at his comment.

Once they were done taking all of the photos we said our goodbyes to everyone and made our way to Munro's car.

I was feeling a bit more calm when we were around everyone but now that it's just us I'm feeling nervous again. I just really want things to go well and I don't want anything to change between us.
