Jiho was once again in trouble, and Selina was called to help. Her friends were in a cyber cafe trying to help Jiho, but Selina had to turn up late because of an already scheduled game scrim with Kwitch community.
When she turned up, she was surprised to see Kouji there. Mira explained that it was a coincidence and Kouji had decided to help them for free. When Kouji had saw her he had blushed because even with her using a mask, she still looked pretty.
The guys had already left and the girls were snacking somewhere near.
Seeing an empty seat, Selina had sat down and saw that the computer still had a lot of minutes left. Mira explained that the seat was Vasco's and he had went out to find the guys who did this to Jiho.
Selina looked up the games downloaded on the PC and decided to play Valorant. She logged into her account. Kouji had found his way behind her with the cyber cafe's chair.
"No way!!" His eyes widened as he saw her username.
"You're--!!!" Kouji gasped but was quickly shut up by Selina's hand.
"Shh, only my best friend knows. But now you apparently know too and I would like for you to keep it down?" Selina asked. Kouji quickly nodded and sat himself on the now empty chair next to her.
"C-Can we play together?!" He asked excitedly. Selina chuckled and shook her head in disbelief.
"Log out from the PC you rented if you want to do so." She instructed. Kouji obediently did so, and he was excited to play along with the famous Kwitch legend. Who knew she was right here all along?

It was snowing by the time Selina went out of the cyber cafe. Mira and Zoe had went home early, and Kouji had decided to stay at the cyber cafe for more games. As Selina walked, she heard police and ambulance sirens near the distance, and had felt like it was omnious.
And the sirens reminded her of him. Stupid, idiotic, dumbass Jake Kim.
Maybe she should pay him a visit in prison and demand answers since she knows he's been hiding them. Jake wouldn't go this far just because of money. He was way better than that.
Selina got home and opened a drawer that she had forgotten. It was full of old printed photos of her life before high school, and most of them were with Nathan. Several photos she kept at the bottom were from the days that she was way younger and wanted to forget.
At the very back, a pack of photos of two younger teens was kept nicely. It was of both Selina Choi and Jake Kim on their younger years. Selina had always been shy, but eventually she opened up and started smiling everytime she took pictures with Jake.
Jake didn't really cared about how he looked. He kept that deadpan face of him and rarely smiled. It was one occassion that she did manage to make him smile, and Selina had fallen for him.
But eventually as they got older, things come and go. And so does her relationship with him. It all started going downhill when his father died, and they never cared to try to fix it. Selina was frustrated and disappointed, and eventually turned into anger and resentment to her childhood friend.
Underneath the photos were an old necklace that had a small flower on it. Selina gripped it hard and shed a tear.
Selina sighed as she laid on her bed, arms blocking her eyes from the light.
Soon.
She'll be ready soon to meet him.
