"Daniel, can I speak to you?" Selina called him over at school when it was over. Not even waiting for his answer, Selina dragged him away.

"Ugh!" Daniel groaned as he was slammed into a wall, her hand landing right next to his face. She had led him to a secluded part of school, where there was no one passing by.

"What are your intentions with Workers?"

Daniel scowled annoyedly, rubbing his neck, "Why should I answer truthfully to you when you answer to Eugene?"

"Because somehow our goals overlap." She answered, making Daniel blink in confusion.

"What?"

Selina sighed.

"I know what you've been doing since the Fourth Affiliate. You're planning to take down Workers and disband the four major crews right?"

He nodded, and she went on, "Ever wonder why you keep seeing me? I have a goal on my own with Workers. You think I work for them at my own will?"

"Then what's your goal...?"

"I'm not telling you. It's a classified mission." She denied.

"You've come far to the Second Affiliate, Daniel. Whatever and however it is you do... It's working. You even rattled Eugene... He's wary of you. Don't ask me how cuz I won't tell you."

He stayed silent, then his eyes turned to the hand beside his face. "Can you lower your arm--"

"No. It's an intimidation tactic. I won't do it until I get my answers." Selina steeled herself.

"Look, our goals overlap. To accomplish my goal, it needs to happen the same time you accomplish yours in the Second Affiliate. Do you have a plan?"

"I do. But, I need to know what the Second Affiliate was hiding since I need to bring them down." Daniel explained.

"Then let me give you a hint. Look under."

"That explains nothing--"

"Listen to me," She cut him off, and Daniel could tell she was serious, "Every affiliate we've been at so far looks all nice on the outside, but they all have rotten things in the inside."

Daniel's expression changed in realization.

"Make a plan and go to Eugene. Once you go in and make the deal with the devil, you won't come out. You can't contact for outside help, and that's your main problem."

Daniel actually smiled.

"I actually have a solution for that."

Selina didn't believe him, and searched into his eyes. He didn't waver. So... He was being truthful.

"Then you have a plan to take down the Second Affiliate. Good." Selina finally took her hand off. "Don't tell anybody about this. If someone knows, we're both dead."

She started walking away.

"Are you helping Jake?"

That made her stop.

"He was looking for someone back in the Third Affiliate." Daniel explained. "Someone named..."

"Sinu Han... Yes." Selina walked back to Daniel in a whisper. "It's top secret. No one can know."

"Have you found him yet?"

"I believe I have, but I still have no solid proof. That's where you come in. When you find him in the Second Affiliate, I trust you to contact your 'outside help' to tell Jake about it."

"That will be no problem." He smiled. "You're quite nice, Selina. I didn't know you've been with Workers because you were helping Jake."

Selina sighed and gave a small smile. "Thanks. I wish I can tell him myself, but I'm afraid I'm actually being monitored by Eugene myself. I don't know, maybe I'm being overdramatic and overthink about it--"

"It's okay. Better safe than sorry." Daniel consoled. "And don't worry, I'll do anything that I can to help you and tell Jake."

Selina felt bad now. Daniel is very kind and nice.

"I'm sorry I told Eugene about how to trap you," She said quickly and looked away in embarassment.

"What?"

"Um... He showed you the casino right? Then you tried exposing him... It was all according to my plan." She blushed, feeling guilty. "Eugene was testing me about my loyalty."

"Oh..." Daniel sighed, "Well, what's done is done. Because of that, he showed you the casino right?"

"Yes. I would like to tell you more but..." Her phone rang just in time. She smiled as she saw the contact name.

"I have to go."

"It's alright. Thank you for helping me, Selina." Daniel smiled gratefully. Selina smiled back sadly.

"Good luck, Daniel. You'll really need it."

"It's been a long time since the both of us spent time together like this." Nathan smiled as he licked his ice cream, "Just the two of us."

"I know... Sorry I've been busy." Selina sighed and licked her own ice cream.

The two were spending time together after quite a long time at Han River, looking at the sunset. They have their own individual schedules. Selina's time was mostly spent training or with Workers, while Nathan had his own schedule.

"What have you been doing?" Nathan asked.

"This and that... I can't really tell you." Selina looked away.

"I get it." Nathan nodded, understanding.

"How about you?" Selina asked back, curious on what her best friend had been doing.

"Other than playing online with you late at night, I keep making music."

"That's great!" Selina smiled.

"I've actually signed into PTJ as a producer." Nathan admitted.

"You did?" She blinked, quite surprised by the information. It really has been since they talked about their lives.

"Yep. DG was really persistent on signing me as a producer..."

The pink haired guy crossed her mind. What was DG thinking signing Nathan again? The two had rejected the offer to join PTJ back then... Maybe after DG became CEO, he was still interested in Nathan's skills...

Selina smiled. She noted to text him thanks.

"But I don't regret accepting his offer. My music is being sung by more people now, even if they haven't released yet." Nathan shrugged. "I get money, and It's like an investment for my future."

"Ethan's fine with that?"

Ethan is Nathan's older brother who happened to be a doctor. He wanted Nathan to follow his steps, but Nathan wants to live his own life to do music instead.

"We fight here and there, but he's starting to see and accept it."

"That's good then." She patted his back, and the two watch the sunset in silence again until Selina gasped.

"Does that mean I'm not going to sing your songs anymore now that you're more famous and prioritize celebrities more?!"

"You dork! Of course you still are. I made a new song too, and I think you'll do great singing it!" Nathan slapped her arm for her overreacting.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go record!"

Just an announcement, I think I'll be quite busy. Updates will be irregular. For this story, I've mapped out everything, but I haven't got the chance to write the next chapters. Sad...
