xviii. hell hath no fury like the red devil did

Selina didn't know how much thugs she had been beating up throughout the night. Nathan had opted out since he was not a fighter. Selina didn't want him hurt too like before, and told him to stay home and lock the doors. Nathan wished her luck and told her to come back whole.

Selina must have hit them too hard.

Selina sighed as she threw away the now battered bat and tidied her hair.

"No time to lose," She hopped through the bodies.

Selina walked and walked until she found a park. Somehow it was no surprise that Logan Lee had defeated a mountain of Hostel members.

She had took off her mask and hat, approaching him carefully.

"Fuck, you want to fight too?" He spat. "Just so you know I fight girls too."

"You dumbass, I'm Zoe's friend." Selina deadpanned. Logan stopped at that.

"You're the glasses chick?" He squinted his eyes as he realized who she was.

"Yep." She stood in front of him. "She'll appreciate what you did. I'll thank you in behalf of the girls."

"Tch..." Logan had looked away. The bodies groaned from under him.

"Whew. Still looking wild, Logan Lee." A familiar voice came closer to them. Selina turned to see a familiar face.

"...Were you following me? Fuck it. Let's do this, then." Logan sighed.

"Nah. I just have something to discuss... With you." The man finally noticed the girl in front of Logan.

"Oh hi there, Selly!"

"Goo, hey!" She greeted, her mood better now after venting her stress.

"Were you fighting these guys too?" Goo had asked.

"I was, but these people here are all Logan. I left mine to find something else, but I think my friends already took care of it." Selina explained as she took out her buttefly knife and started flipping it mindlessly. Goo's eyes seemed to follow along.

"What are you doing here, Goo?"

"I'm making a secret friend," He pointed to Logan. "Do you want to be my secret friend too, Selly?"

"...Am I not your friend already?" Selina frowned.

"Well of course we are!" Goo quickly put his arm around her shoulder, making Selina sigh.

"Are you with Gun?" She had asked.

"Yeah, we were in the sauna earlier. Why?"

"He told me he'll come to me when he's free. But he was in a sauna? Unbelieveable." Selina said frustratedly, snapping her butterfly knife to close.

"Well, I guess I'll get home now. My bat's already broken and I don't want to destroy my hand because I have a scrim tomorrow." Selina put her hat back on and sighed.

"See ya,"

And with that, Selina had gone back home.

Selina had taken a warm bath, and had a towel on her neck as she waited for her hair to dry. She had on a red tank top and white shorts as she went to the kitchen to get something to eat she was surprised by the presence of Gun on the couch.

"Fuck! You scared me." She said while clutching her heart.

"Still grumpy I see." He pointed out as he took out a cigarette. Selina quickly came over to him and took it away.
