Eli had called her frantically saying he had lost Yenna. Selina had helped him retrace his steps and searched the whole day, and thankfully Yenna was found at the Police Station, so Eli and Selina had met up together there and the two got there together right on time.

Selina took in his outfit. Eli's clothes were dirty, and he was sweaty from running around searching for the little kid he was responsible for. Selina noted how Eli was on the verge of crying, and comforted him with a pat on the back.

"She's found now Eli..."

"You're her guardian, correct? She's sleeping right now." The police officer led them to the missing child. "You must've been desperate to find her. Are you her brother and sister? What about her parents?"

"I'm..."

Selina could see the genuine relief on his face as he picked up a sleeping Yenna from the crib.

"Her dad..."

Selina instantly whipped around to see him. "What?!"

"Ah, you should be the mother then!" The police officer said to her. Selina stood there shocked. The officer smiled.

"Eli...?" Selina turned to said man and whispered harshly. "She's your daughter?"

"Ah, I'll explain later." Eli said as he saw the curious eyes of the police officer. She must've wondered how such a young couple could already have a child.

"Yenna..." Eli cooed. Yenna slowly started to wake up.

"...Pa..." Both Eli and Selina looked at each other then blinked. Yenna never said that before.

"Papa!" Yenna smiled, seeing her dad. Eli had stood still frozen.

"H-Hey!! Did you hear that? She said it!!" Eli turned to Selina and the police officer excited, "It's her first time calling me that!!"

Selina quickly took out her phone and started recording.

"Say it again, Yenna!" Yenna had smiled even wider and proudly said another "Papa!"

Eli hugged his daughter dearly, and Selina's phone turned to the picture of him and Yenna. Eli's eyes were teary.

"I love you, Yenna!!"

"Papa!"

Selina's arm slowly lowered and she took in the sight warmly. She stopped the video and thanked the police woman as Eli was immersed in his emotions. Selina led them away and they found themselves sitting at the park.

"You want to hold her?" Eli said finally. "I need to wipe my face."

"Sure." Selina said softly and took Yenna from him.

"Hello Yenna! It's me Selina. It's been a while since I last saw you, I hope you remember me!" Yenna giggled as Selina softly pinched her cheeks. "You've gotten even cuter since I last saw you!"

"You must have been in shock when you found out I'm her dad..."

"I mean, yes at first, but as I think about it, it's the most obvious?" Selina said back.

"How so?"

"You're never separated from her. Maybe in school but even at night when you send me pictures of her, it felt like a proud dad showing off how cute his beloved daughter was." Selina chuckled. "So how did it happen?"
