doyoung and hana had a baby girl.

jihyun was ecstatic. luckily the attack on the capitol from the districts had been delayed a couple of weeks so she was able to help hana and doyoung out with parenting because it was their first time but she had practically raised her younger siblings. she was immediately assigned the godmother. as for the godfather, there wasn't one at the moment but seven certain boys were fighting over the title. they were ready to babysit anytime.

it was hard getting used to having doyoung around. it confused everyone's brains because he had practically come back from the dead. he was also distraught that hana had been pregnant and he missed it all. but at least, he woke up in time for the baby to arrive which meant he could be a dad to the baby.

at breakfast, the eight friends sat together talking excitedly about random things as they tended to when doyoung joined them. hana was looking after the baby and told him to go spend time with jihyun, but it was hard to do because she was always with those seven boys. it made him curious.

"so which one of you is dating my little cousin?" he asked and jihyun nearly choked on her food.

jeno patted her back as she coughed. when she calmed down, she glared at her cousin with such annoyance he had to lean back and hold his hands up, urging her not to kill him. he wouldn't stop there though. he needed his question answered.

"that's the first thing you ask in the morning?"

"it's a serious question. obviously, something had to have happened and i want to know if i approve of it." doyoung said, crossing his arms.

"i think it's none of your business."

"you're hiding something from me!" he pointed an accusing finger at her. "you know i won't back down."

he was right about that. once he had something on his mind, he would not stop going on about it, especially because he knew he'd be annoying jihyun this way.

"well, if you really want to know—"

"we're actually all with her." haechan said, throwing his arm around her shoulder.

"excuse me?" the older jolted forward in disbelief.

"you heard him. she's dating all of us." jaemin said, going along with the lie.

jihyun wasn't even surprised it was those two. they were the devils together. but she kind of liked the idea of fooling doyoung. she would always play pranks on him before the hunger games and she hadn't seen him in ages so it would be so much easier to do another prank. it was harmless though, right?

"is this true?" doyoung asked, turning to her.

"yes." she replied, continuing to eat like it wasn't a big deal to her. the others who were not participating in the lie were shocked at her reply and weren't sure if that meant they should go along with it.

"what?! i always knew something was going on, but not this! i won't allow this. this is insane."

"doyoung, calm down. you're not my dad."

"oh... okay. i got it. you're trying to prank me because i haven't been around for so long. haha. nice joke." he concluded and she hated that he could see right through her but it only made her all the more determined.

"it's not a prank, is it?" she asked, looking at the others and they all shook their heads. "i'm really with them all."

"do you need proof?" haechan asked, taking jihyun's chin between his fingers and pulling her in for a pretend kiss.

"i don't want to see that!" doyoung yelled, covering his eyes.

the two laughed silently and moved away, waiting for the older to uncover his eyes.
