"Okay..." Y/n mumbled as she stood in front of a building.

"If I remember correctly and I actually got the address right, this is it." She said, her eyes shifting from the building to the piece of paper in her hands.

"Hey, Rento-san!" A voice called from behind her, making her look back.

"Hm? Oh. Midori. Hello." Y/n greeted the girl who stopped beside her.

"It's nice to see a familiar face. Do you want to sit next to me if we're allowed to choose out seats? I don't really have any friends who are coming over to cram school." Midori smiled, nervously scratching her cheek with one finger.

"Sure! I don't have any friends either, though I do know some of the others because they were in my class." Y/n spoke.

"Thank you. Wait! I forgot to ask which class you're going to. Who knows if we're in the same class." Midori said, looking at a slip of paper in her hands.

"Look." Y/n said, raising her paper.

Midori read it and let out a relieved sigh, "Okay, thank goodness. We are in the same class. I was worried that we weren't and I'd have to be alone."

Y/n merely chuckled and entered the building with Midori following.

"Are you thinking about making any friends here?" Midori asked.

Y/n nodded, "Definitely. What about you?"

"I'd like to make new friends. Hopefully it won't be too hard." Midori replied.

They soon arrived at their class and upon stepping in, they spotted a few kids already formed around a few desks while chatting.

"This class seems lively, and in a good way." Midori smiled.

"Mhm." Y/n nodded, her eyes looking up to the front.

"Oh. There's already directions from the teacher on the chalkboard." She pointed out and Midori looked to the front.

"Yay! We can sit together and as long as we aren't disrupting the class, we won't be moved." Midori beamed.

"Cool. Do you have anywhere you want to sit?" Y/n asked.

"Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to sit somewhere in the front to see the board better." Midori answered.

"It's fine. I don't mind." Y/n assured.

'I mean, I sat in the front too when I came here.' She thought.

The duo made their way to the front of the classroom and took their seats where it was unoccupied.

"Do you think it'll be hard? What grades do you think you'll get?" Midori asked, turning to look at Y/n.

"Good ones." Y/n said.

"I'd get my precious belongings confiscated otherwise. Not sure how I'd get my ferret confiscated though." She tapped her chin.

"Woah! You have a ferret?" Midori asked, her eyes shining.

"Mhm! Guess what I named him. He has brown fur by the way." Y/n said.

"Hmmm...I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get it wrong, but Cocoa? Maybe Peanut because of his size?" Midori rubbed her chin thoughtfully.

"Those are good names, but not what I had in mind when I was 5." Y/n said.

"You've had him since you were 5? Wow!" Midori smiled. "So, what's his name?"

"His name is Cat!" Y/n grinned.

"Cat? Unique, but why?" Midori cocked her head to the side.

"He looks like a long cat. Well, he looked like that to younger me." Y/n replied. "Even my friend called him a long cat."
