Hello, I'm Elena. Elena Lightwood.

I'm a normal girl in appearance. I'm like all the people of my age. I love spending time with my friends, watching movies, going shopping, going to parties... I'm 18 so might as well have fun ! In reality, I'm 898 years old. No, you're not dreaming.

I'm a vampire.

Yes, the supernatural exists. Don't worry, i didn't believe it either before my transformation. But it was 880 years ago. I had time to get used to it. During all these years, I have travelled the world and have seen it evolve. From the Hundred Years War between 1337 and 1453 to the creation of cell phones in 1973. Passing of course by the Discovery of America by Christopher Columbus in 1492, the reign of Louis XIV in France between 1661 and 1715, the constitution of the United States in 1787 or the Spring of the people in 1848 without forgetting the First and Second World War. I don't need to give you the dates, I hope you know them.

Anyway, I'm not going to give you a history lesson. That's your teachers' job.

Speaking of teachers... A month ago I moved to California. In Beacon Hills to be precise. And guess what? Tomorrow I'm going to school!

Yes, okay high school is not really my age but I have, and always will have the look I had when I transformed so... as I was bitten at 18, I look like a 18 girl. They even ask me to show my ID card before entering the club. Of course, it's a fake ID since I was born in 1113. People would find that a little weird in my opinion.

Anyway... I thought it might be time to see what studying is like these days. I was getting bored and thought it would put some action in my life.
