The Vampire of Beacon-Hills [ENGLISH VERSION]

S3b : Chapter Fourty-six

SCOTT'S POV :

Peter Hale walks through the door of the house and observes Stiles from afar.

"This is more of a mental war than a physical one," the werewolf remarks. "There are better ways to win this battle."

"What kind of ways ?" Deaton asks him.

"We're going to get inside his head."

"What's the plan ?" I question.

"You're going to try to delve into the mind of the evil, sickly pale Stiles to awaken the real, sickly pale Stiles and bring him back from the depths of his subconscious. But... someone has to go with you."

After a bit of preparation and a lot of hesitation from Lydia who thought it would be better to try to convince Elena to help us, we get into position and I sink my claws into the backs of my two friends' necks.

Lydia and I arrive in Stiles' mind tied to beds in a room at Eichen-House. I quickly manage to free myself and help the banshee to do the same. We leave the room and find ourselves separated.

[ ... ]

I'm kissing Allison in her bedroom closet when a noise makes me raise my head.

"I heard something."

"It's okay, you're with me, my girlfriend breathes. Everything's fine. We just have to not make too much noise."

We start kissing again but one detail seems strange to me.

"Why are we in your closet," I ask.

"We're hiding."

"From who ? Your father ?"

"Don't worry about it. Everything's fine."

She puts her lips on mine again but I push her away.

"We're not together anymore," I finally remember.

"What do you mean ?"

"It's all fake," I understand. "It's a trap."

I come out of the closet and arrive in a completely white room where I find Lydia. Stiles and the Nogitsune are sitting on the Nemeton, playing a game of go. We try to run to him, to scream at the top of our lungs so he can hear us but there's nothing to do.

"Stiles is part of the pack," Lydia finally says. "He's human but... he's a part of the pack, right ?"

"Yeah. Yeah, of course."

"Then how do wolves signal their location to the rest of the pack ?"

Understanding where she's going with this, I transform.

"They howl."

I scream and Stiles finally seems to notice us. He knocks over the game board and the Nogitsune screams, bringing us back to reality.
