S1 : Chapter Ten

ELENA'S POV:

Walking through the hallways of the school, I'm heading to economics class when I see Jackson talking to Scott.

"I know what you are McCall."

"Sorry but I really don't know what you're talking about."

"Yes, you do. I don't know how you became what you are but I want to have it. And you're going to help me. No matter what it takes. A bite, a scratch, even if it means sniffing magic powder in the moonlight, I don't care. You're going to give me what I want or I'll tell Allison everything," he threatens him.

Now, it's too much. This guy is an asshole. So I head towards them to get the wolf cub out of the mess he's gotten himself into.

"Scott I need to talk to you, are you coming ?"

"Uh... yes, I'm coming."

"Hey Jackson," I smile fakely.

I can see from his look that he's not happy that I intervened and that he's trying to find out if I know what Scott really is.

We move away from the athlete and I allow myself to reprimand him. "Why didn't you tell me about that ?"

"What ? We were just talking," he says innocently.

"Don't play ignorant with me, Scott. I heard everything. How come he knows ?"

"I have no idea."

"Well," I sigh. "If he doesn't have proof, he can tell you all he wants, who's going to believe that young Scott McCall is a werewolf ?"

"Well, as long as he doesn't talk to the Argents." He doesn't answer and lowers his head. "Scott?"

"I'm going to become human again," he finally blurts out.

"What ?"

"Derek told me that the alpha's bite that turned us can turn us back into humans. So I'm going to find him and go back to my old life."

"Is it possible to do that ?"

I can see in his eyes that he really believes it anyway.

"What can I do to help you," I ask him.

"I have to get Allison's pendant back."
