You finally pulled into the driveway that went behind the church. 8 inches of snow covered the ground, causing your car to get stuck on a patch of ice in the driveway. You let your head fall against the steering wheel as you let out a sigh. The best thing you could do was just go inside and go to bed. You grabbed your purse and quickly shut your car off. You quickly stepped through the snow before you slipped and landed on your hands and knees. You let out a loud and annoyed groan as you stood up, brushing the snow off you.

I just want to do to bed. Is that so hard to ask for?

You carefully made your way up the steps and pulled your key out, unlocking the large wooden door. A hard gust of wind blew across the yard, causing the door to fly open. You grabbed it and started pulling it shut, but the window and the wooden door made you powerless. You had it 2 feet away from being closed till you saw 2 claws reach around your head, overlapping your 2 hands and quickly pulling the door shut. You fell back into your helpers arm with an oof.

He was quick to get you standing again, quickky bending down and picking up your dropped belongings.

"Thank you." You breathed out, unable to make out your helper in the dark corridor. There was no response, other then seeing silver catch in the light that shown in the windows on the door from outside. You stared at the figure before it clicked that a ghoul was what helped you.

"H-Hello." You said quickly. You heard nor saw no reaction. You knew that they didn't talk much, if at all to humans.

"Thank you for helping me." You said quietly. There was no response. You fumbled in the darkness until you felt the table that sat inside the door. You grabbed a candle and found the lighter. The andlewick flickered to life as you brought the flame to it. You turned and finally could make out the ghoul in front of you. His silver mask sat over his face. You noticed quite instantly the blue eyes looking at you with curiosity and the brown hair that fell out behind the mask, resting on his shoulders. His hands were folding behind him and his tail curled up from the ground to avoid dragging on the floor. You took a deep and nervous breath as you stared back at the ghoul. He unclasped his claws from behind his back and did small motions with them.

Sign language.

They used it to talk to the Sister's or Siblings they didn't feel comfortable talking to.

Would you like me to escort you back to you're room?

"Yes, thank you. I'd like that very much." You nodded with a small. The ghoul turned around as you walked towards him.

"Do you know where my room is?" You asked of curiosity.

Not necessarily, but I assume on the east wing?

"Yes. The east wing." You nodded. He set his gaze straight ahead.

"You can see pretty well in the dark, right?" You asked to break the suffocating silence. He nodded silently.

"I thought so," You silence before speaking again. "Your the water ghoul right? Rain?" You asked. He nodded again.

"I'm Y/n." You shrugged. He continued walking. The silence fell back over you. You jumped as you heard a rumble above you. You knocked into Rain as the sound of shattering glass came from outside.

"Ice." He hissed quickly, his pointed ears pinned back against his head as an angry snarl left his lips. You froze as you heard his deep and soft voice. You quickly picked up the pace beside him. Your heart thumped loudly in your chest as you relished over and over at the sound of his voice. You hardly noticed the spot now dampening in your underwear. You and Rain had turned multiple corners before coming to the corridor that had your room. You took your key out, setting the candle on the table decoration by your door. You pushed it open, stepping into your room. You could see the ghoul perfectly in the light from the fairy lights that hung in your room. You kicked your shoes off, throwing your jacket and belongings on the desk and blowing out the candles.
