Sodo x Rain - First kiss

Rain's heartbeat raced as Sodo locked hands with him as they took their final bow. They walked off stage and everyone disappeared into their changing rooms, execpt for Rain and Swiss.

"Do it now or I'll do it for you." Swiss gestured, pointing towards Sodo's room. Rain swallowed the nervous lump in his throat and knocked on the door before entering. Sodo stood at his mirror, his silver mask and balaclava already gone. He was in the process of taking his blonde ponytail down before looking up at Rain through the mirror.

"What's up?" He asked, slipping the black hair tie off and running a brush through his long hair.

"I- um- I wanted to talk to you." Rain stuttered, thankful his silver mask hid his bright red face.

"You okay?" Sodo asked, turning to face Rain as he nervously walked up to the shorter fire ghoul.

"So... fuck- um. I-I've been putting this off for, um, a-a long time, but- uh. Fuck." Rain mumbled, fidgeting with his hands. Sodo tilted his head, concern and worry crossing over his face.

"What's wrong?" Sodo asked, urging Rain to continue.

"Well- there's no easy way to say this- um- I like you! No- no, I love you-" Rain clamped his mouth shut, closing his eyes, his whole body tensing under Sodo's gaze. He opened his eyes as he felt the balaclava being pulled down his chin before his tie was pulled gently. He gasped quietly as Sodo's lips pressed softly against his. He melted instantly, his eyes fluttering shut and his hands coming up to cup Sodo's face. Sodo pulled away and his hand went behind Rain's head, unclipping the mask and pulling the balaclava off, letting Rain's curls spring free.

"I love you too, baby boy." Sodo smiled, running his thumb over Rain's soft and wet lips before pulling him back in for a kiss. Sodo pushed him over to the bed and Rain let out a giggle as Sodo pushed him down, crawling on top of him as they kissed again. Rain sighed into it, running his hands up and down Sodo's waist.

"So now wait... are we dating now?" Rain asked as Sodo pulled away. Sodo only smiled before nodding, making Rain blush with a small smile.

"Yes, we are dating now." Sodo said, pressing a kiss to Rain's forehead.
