Ghouls - Migraine

Writing this while having a migraine after working horses :')

You felt miserable. After a long day of working, you had a horrible migraine, but you were trying to stay strong and suffer through it because you promised to watch a movie with them. You hardly noticed Aether giving you worried looks from across the room as your half close eyes blurred over the TV. It was getting worse, and you were regretting not taking any medication. A bright flash came across the TV in the dark room and that did it for you. You slowly rose from the chair you curled up on and stepped slowly away.

"You good?" Swiss asked, talking through the Pringles he was stuffing his face with.

"Yea." You mumbled, cringing at the voice crack at the end. Aether stood up and followed you, quickly swoping you off the ground and picking you up bridle style.

"One of you get some migraine pills and a glass of water." Aether said quietly back. You heard a rumble of commotion and the TV switch off. Aether carried you into your room and laid you gently on the bed. He quickly turned every light off in your room so you could comfortably open your eyes.

"It hurts so bad." You whispered, hearing others walking into your room. A warm arm reached under your shoulders and lifted you up a little.

"Shh, it's okay." Sodo cooed as he felt you wince. "Open." You felt the pills drop onto your tongue before a cup of water was raised to your lips. You took long gulps, making sure the medicine went down all the way. You were laid back against the bed, a yawn escaping your lips. You felt Aether's large hands against your face before he rested to fingers on each of your temples. You felt relief flood over you in soft waves as Aether dug into your mind, taking the pain temporarily away. You felt a warm body cuddle up against your left side and raised your hand to rest on Sodo's cheek. You felt the Quintessence flowing through you, feeling your mind detach from your body. You opened your eyes and Aether stared into your now purple ones.

"How long can you keep them like that?" Swiss asked, seeing you completely gone in Aether's power.

"Probably for a good half an hour or so." He responded, watching you close your eyes as your body went completely limp.

"What exactly are you doing?" Rain asked from where he sat below you by your legs.

"Pulling their mind from their body. There's not a thought in their head. They're completely dead and unknowing to the world around them right now." Aether spoke.

"So like... they're just high?" Mountain asked.

"Sorta I guess." Aether shrugged. After a couple minutes, Aether's hands started to ache, him trying to shift positions. Soon slow and sleepy breathes rose and fell from your chest, signaling you were sleeping. Aether pulled away and settled down beside you, Rain crawling over and laying on top of you. Swiss curled up beside Sodo and Mountain by Aether. They softly purred, being extra careful not to wake you.

"They should be better tomorrow." Aether whispered, running his thumb down your nose and across your cheek, another flow of quintessence going through you. Sodo gave your jaw a soft lick, his tail wrapping around your thigh comfortingly.
